Why I Love Button & Wilde

A few weeks ago I took myself on a little trip to London to visit the Button & Wilde Pop Up Shop.

Our Delivery of New Chuggington Toys

This Easter L has been lucky enough to be one of the first kids to get to try out some of the range of New Chuggington Toys before they have even hit the shelves.

James’ Thoughts on Canagan Cat Food

I love getting to review new and different products on my blog, I’ve found some really amazing things. I also love that we get to spoil L with new toys and amazing experiences. Often forgotten though is the 4th member of our little family, James the Cat. So he was very happy when we got sent some Canagan Cat Food for him to try.

Our #RailAdventure to Somerleyton Hall & Gardens

This summer I had promised L a trip on a train. I hadn’t given it much thought, I just knew it would be something he would enjoy. So when Greater Anglia launched their #RailAdventure campaign and wanted to know if we would like to take part I leapt at the chance.

Waiting and watching for trains at Wymondham Station

We are lucky enough to be situated close to two rail stations, Diss and Wymondham. In fact we spend quite a bit of time at Wymondham Station thanks to the delightful Station Bistro. A lovely establishment that allows us to enjoy great food whilst watching the trains go by, it one of L’s and mine favourite spots.

A Constant Battle – Toys vs Batteries

I cannot be the only person who feels this way, but kids toys now need a ridiculous amount of batteries. It’s not one or two. It’s three, or four, or even more. So I asked Varta if they could help. I’ve worked with them before using the amazing power packs they make, so I figured Varta Rechargeable Batteries would be perfect.

This all started when I bought L a toy at Christmas that flagged up a warning before I completed the purchase. I was warned that this toy required 4 AA Batteries and 4 AAA Batteries. Yes one toy needed 8 batteries.

A Review of the Lumie Luxe 700 Bodyclock

As you know we are big fans of Lumie here. I have been using the Bodyclock Iris for quite some time and husb has been using the Active 250 for longer. When we found out about the new Lumie Luxe 700 we couldn’t wait to try it out.

Now in quick terms the Luxe does everything all the other bodyclocks does but without the aromatherapy function of the Iris but improving the music function of the Active 250 by adding Bluetooth Speakers, not just a Radio.

A Love Story – Me and My New Mattress

Not long before Mother’s Day I got the best gift I could get. No not something lovingly handmade by my son, no not even gin. I in fact got offered the chance to review a brand new mattress. Not any old mattress either, one from the Hilary Devey collection.

My excitement was untrue.

Feeling Calm #58

For my birthday last year I was given a great book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday since and on Wednesday’s (or late on a Tuesday) I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.

More amazing weather, bank holidays on the horizon and a clean house. It should all be good but a change at work has left me feeling uneasy and an ever growing pile of things to blog about is adding to my stress levels.

Regardless here are my top ten moments from the last 7 days:

This Plus That Equals…. Tiredness

This plus that equals…. tiredness

Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about tiredness, both mental and physical .

I’m the mum of a three-year old, so of course I’m tired. At the moment I seem to be feeling it more than usual. Here’s why.
