A couple of weeks ago now I was invited to the new Hochanda studios for a behind the scenes tour and a master class crafting session with one of their presenters.
In case you’re not familiar with Hochanda, it is a TV Channel dedicated to selling crafting products. I can’t think of a craft material you can’t get from them, it’s very inclusive, which I love. So if your passion is needle craft or woodwork, or anything in between, you will be catered for. Plus because it is a TV shopping channel you get to watch these great shows demonstrating the products, filled with inspiration and handy tips.
Just before Christmas I was contacted by the wonderful people at Crafter’s Companion, a leading papercraft company who create and sell some amazing products that get us crafty types all excited. They wanted to know if I would like to review the recently launched Colorista Range from Spectrum Noir.
I love colouring in, it’s something that is quite easy to fit in around everything else and something I can even do with L. I can set him up with his own colouring book and crayons whilst I enjoy my own. So of course I said yes. Continue reading The Spectrum Noir Colorista Range→
Do you want some a bit of quick, easy and fun Halloween decoration ideas? Well you’re in the right place. L and I got our crafting on with some of the amazing products available from Hobbycraft and really dressed up our doorway.
We were lucky enough to be sent a #makeitscary gift hamper and we’ve had some real fun.
It seems to be ages since we last had a Baker Ross delivery. L and I have missed the fun crafts and easy inspiration they provide.
Last week, to get us ready for Halloween and get into the Autumnal spirit we got a great selection of crafts delivered. I love the fact that at only three years old they still have loads that L can join in with. From simple colouring in to more interesting crafts.
We love being part of the Baker Ross Blogger Network. Our latest delivery contained loads of amazing and fun crafts perfect for summer.
L was so excited about this latest box. On top of all the crafts, there were some party bag style goodies. Including some toy snails!! The snails are a simple pull and go, so we’ve been having a lot of fun racing them.
I recently took a trip to my local Hobbycraft in Norwich to grab a few bits so that L and I could make some fun Father’s Day gifts. Now L is only two and half years old, there is a limit to what he can craft but no limit to the mess he can make, or the fun he will have making it!
So we pushed back the rug, got him into his little craft apron, these are brilliant and only cost £1, well worth purchasing one, and then we set about immortalising Daddy by creating a portrait of him.
I love to craft, really love it, but like many of my hobbies it has been put on the back burner since becoming a mum. Just like reading, looking presentable and using the bathroom by myself.
I’m lucky enough that I get to work with Baker Ross regularly so I’m never out of fun crafts to do with the boy and I also make things for the Hobbycraft blog quite often, every now and then I get asked to things for other companies as well. I relish these opportunities as it means I get to do something I love, but it’s never just for me, which I miss. Continue reading April Crafts→
