Can you remember a little while back I had a fabulous trip to Bavaria with BenQ to check out there latest projector. The GS1. It’s small, easy to use and designed for outdoor use. Perfect for camping and caravanning.
You may also know that I booked my first ever outdoor cinema trip this year and it was a disaster. With storms, rain and a deflating screen.
Well I never should have bothered with the outdoor cinema trip because now I’ve got my very own BenQ GS1 and I can have my cinema experience whenever I want. Inside. Outside. Pretty much any time of the day too. In my jammies, with wine, food and without having to queue to have a wee.
I’ve been using a Varta Powerpack for nearly a year now. I’m obsessed with it. It’s my lifeline and it travels everywhere with me. Husb has always been envious of my constant power source. So he was really pleased to get to check out the Varta Portable Powerpack 2600. Continue reading Fully Charged with Varta→
I know it can feel like we get a bit of a raw deal when it comes to Summer in the UK. Heavy rain one week followed by a week of heat almost unheard of. Then before you know it there’s a definite chill to the air morning and evening and the sense that Autumn is knocking on the door.
We’ve gone through a bit of a cleaning breakthrough here in the Any Way To Stay At Home household. With the help of a list and some fab time saving products I’m feeling pretty smug in my domesticated-ness. So over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some of my tips with you, this week it the Gtech AirRam K9.
We now follow a weekly cleaning schedule and on that schedule is a little slot everyday for a quick vacuum. This is all very well and good if it was indeed a quick job, but by the time you’ve got it plugged in and unwound the cable, dragged the thing around the house, wound the cable back up and put it away it’s easily 25 minutes of your life gone.

So over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some of my tips with you, this week it the Vileda Windomatic.
We now follow a weekly cleaning schedule and on that schedule Tuesday is the day we clean the windows. Now previously this hadn’t happened weekly, nor monthly for that matter. Window cleaning was very sporadic. So now I had to do it every week I wanted something to make it easier. Continue reading The Vileda Windomatic→
I have spent the last two days in Bavaria at the launch of the BenQ GS1. It has been an amazing experience. So I’m really happy that I got to attend.
I had never been to Bavaria before, I actually had to Google it to find out where it was. My geography is atrocious. In fact I had never actually flown by myself before. So there were lots of new experiences for me. Turns out flying by myself was a breeze, it’s so much easier when you aren’t arranging everyone else.
As part of my attempts to lose weight and get more active ready for Bridesmaid duties last year I have been sent a fitness tracker and connected bathroom scales from Terraillon.
Terraillon are a housewares brand, who design and make health and well-being products and have a whole range of connected devices that link to their Wellness Coach app. There are kitchen and bathroom scales, activity trackers, and blood pressure monitors.
So in about a year I am going to be a bridesmaid for my little sister. This is just the kind of goal I need to start losing some weight and getting healthier, which all ties in nicely with my quest to be a calmer, happier and healthier person.
I have decided to vlog about my journey as that will give me a visual reminder of where I’ve been and where I am and as it’s something that makes me rather uncomfortable it will also help to keep me in check. Plus it’s always good to push yourself.
