I’ll be honest. I hadn’t heard of Star Monsters until really recently. Shocking as they are now in their second series. When I went to FunFest a few weeks ago they had a stand and we got chatting. Straight away I could tell they would be something L would love. Continue reading Star Monsters
Good quality, fun and educational gifts for small children. That’s what Gifts for Little Hands are all about, so when they got in touch to see if we would like to review a few items, of course I said yes.
They kindly sent L a fab parcel of goodies and boy was he excited. A great magnetic shape puzzle, some number cards and a fab magic phonics card. L got to playing immediately. Continue reading Gifts for Little Hands – Educational Toys
We love reading to L, it’s part of our bedtime routine. I regularly ignore age ranges on books too, and I’m so glad I did as otherwise I would have never discovered the wonderful Whimsy Wood series by Sarah Hill. I couldn’t be more excited to get to read book 9 Fearne Fairy and the Chocolate Caterpillar.
I’ll quickly explain why I love the Whimsy Wood books so much. Based in a lovely magical, woodland. They are soft and warm and filled with great fun and a strong sense of the natural world. They are the book form of that idyllic childhood feeling we all want our kids to have. You can read my previous reviews here and here. Continue reading The Whimsy Wood Series
Who else struggles for space in their house? Hands up. I know we do and the older L gets the worse it seems to become. His toys seemingly multiply overnight, not to mention the fact that as he has grown his toys have too.
For ages now we have wanted to get him some form of play house, but we physically haven’t had anywhere to put one, apart from the garden and have you seen how much a wooden playhouse for the garden costs! To have a playhouse in his room would mean not being able to open his wardrobe. To have one in the sitting room would either mean not being able to see the TV or not being able to open the door, neither of which are good options.
L has been trying out some of the fab fresh scents from Vosene Kids this summer. The Afterswim Hair & Body Wash has become an essential part of our swim kit and the Pink Pomelo & Vitamin C 2-in-1 Shampoo is a new bath time favourite. Continue reading Vosene Kids
We have been out and about getting messy and grubby all summer so when Persil got in touch about there new ‘Persil Wild Explorers’ app it sounded perfect for us, at the same time Comfort had sent me a sample of their new super concentrated fabric softener. Everything was in line for us to have some extra messy fun and be left with super clean and super soft laundry.
So this week L and I took a little shopping trip to the newly rebranded TOFS store in Harleston. Because yes The Original Factory Shop, has rebranded!
However much I’d like to be able to take L to The Natural History Museum all the time, it’s just not practical. Thankfully the Natural History Museum Shop has some great options so that we can enjoy the fun at home.
We have been checking out the amazing Stegosaurus Hatching Finger Puppet which is £12 and a lovely First Colouring Book all about the Garden which is a bargain at £3.99. Continue reading Summer Fun from The Natural History Museum Shop
This week it was my bestest friend’s birthday and the week before it was her daughter’s, so what better thing to do than to throw them a mini birthday party. Thank to The Great Little Party Company that was easy.
Liz, a working mum of two has just started this new party box company. So here’s what she has to say; Continue reading The Great Little Party Company
Not long after the review, Nadine, the creator of Doddle Bags got in touch to say thanks and sent us a lovely gift of paints, canvas’s and more Doddle Bags with the paint brush attachments.
