The SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick is a flash drive that allows you to share content with multiple devices at once, whether it be music, videos or photos.
It’s handy for anyone about to go travelling or who needs to access large amounts of data when on the move. For a blogger it’s really handy!
With the Wireless Stick in your pocket, in your bag or across the room, you can stream music or videos to three smartphones, tablets or computers to free up phone/tablet memory, automatically back up files and securely share content with contacts.
It is small, the size of a standard USB Stick. Not that it should make a difference it looks surprisingly good too. The textured surface leaves you with a really good looking flash drive.
To load it with data you can either plug it into your computer and drag and drop as usual. Or using the wireless connection and the SanDisk app you can pull from your phone or tablets storage folders onto the drive.
This obviously works in reverse too.
To be fair that is about it. It truly is that simple. I love that it has its own wireless connection, that is so clever.
I have been able to pop movies onto it that I can then stream onto my phone when on holiday.
Share large amounts of pictures with friends and family when visiting them.
Drop loads of blog articles onto it that I can then work on when I am away from home.
I have even popped a mini portfolio on there which can show people when I meet them at shows and events just at the drop of the hat. Without wasting storage space on my phone for something I may not even need. Also seriously impressing those who I have been able to share it with, within seconds, just by having the SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick with me.
It’s available in sizes from 16gb up to 256gb so you can choose the right size for you. With prices starting at around £25 depending on size and purchase shop you are getting a lot of tech in a small package for a small price.
I honestly think the SanDisk Connect is one of those things you don’t think you need until you own it. Then you wonder how you ever got by without it.
Disclosure – I was sent my SanDisk Connect Wireless Stick in return for this review. All opinions are my own.
