This month, Hobbycraft the UK’s largest craft retailer has launched a national competition to create a Mini Makers Panel. The panel will be sent products to test and review before they hit the shelves and will be encouraged to share their feedback with Hobbycraft.
The feedback of the panel and their makes will be showcased on the Hobbycraft blog and social media channels.
Excitingly I got sent the latest box from the amazing Boxcitement to review. This months theme is Pop Art and it did not disappoint. Filled to the brim with fun little gifts, each one picked to make you smile.
Flying Tiger sell amazing value and great quality crafting goods, with paints and canvases starting at only £1. They kindly sent L and I bundle to get creative with and L asked to make something for his Daddy, so that’s what we did.
We recently received an Aquabeads New Beginners Studio. I was really looking forward to this, it struck me as an easier version of the beads I used to have to get my mum to iron for me when I was a kid. I didn’t know how L would get on with them though. Continue reading Aquabeads Review→
A couple of weeks ago now I was invited to the new Hochanda studios for a behind the scenes tour and a master class crafting session with one of their presenters.
In case you’re not familiar with Hochanda, it is a TV Channel dedicated to selling crafting products. I can’t think of a craft material you can’t get from them, it’s very inclusive, which I love. So if your passion is needle craft or woodwork, or anything in between, you will be catered for. Plus because it is a TV shopping channel you get to watch these great shows demonstrating the products, filled with inspiration and handy tips.

It hs been one busy week! Husb has been busy, I have been busy, even little L has been busy. Having the Bank Holiday was a nice treat though.

As you may or may not know, next week is National Stationery Week. The guys over at Stabilo believe that stationery matters and so do I. They aren’t just making functional and practical items, it’s so much more than that.
To me stationery is a bit of an obsession. I love it. As well as needing it for everyday and mundane tasks, I need it for my own peace of mind. To find my inner calm and sanity. My stationery says so much about me and I belive that if you can have a better, more fun, prettier item then why would you not use it.
