When the guys at Rust-Oleum got in touch a couple of weeks back to see if I fancied taking part in a bit of a blogger challenge they were running to create a wedding craft the timing couldn’t have been better.
As you all know my sister is getting married next year and I am one of her bridesmaids, so far, as part of my Project Bridesmaid series, I have been focusing on myself and losing some weight so I’ll look good on the day. The time has come, however, to start actually taking care of my real duties. Continue reading How to Make A Wedding Tree – Project Bridesmaid→

I have already been lucky enough to review a couple of the Boxcitement Subscription Boxes and I loved them, so I was more than happy to take a peak at the Animal Magic Box they sent out last month.
If you missed my previous reviews Boxcitement is a subscription box service that sends you a letterbox friendly box filled with lovely things, designed to excite, perfect for people who love to give gifts and receive them too, with cards, stationery, jewellery, the cute and the kitsch.
I love to craft, really love it, but like many of my hobbies it has been put on the back burner since becoming a mum. Just like reading, looking presentable and using the bathroom by myself.
I’m lucky enough that I get to work with Baker Ross regularly so I’m never out of fun crafts to do with the boy and I also make things for the Hobbycraft blog quite often, every now and then I get asked to things for other companies as well. I relish these opportunities as it means I get to do something I love, but it’s never just for me, which I miss. Continue reading March Crafts→
Have you found Hochanda yet? It’s a TV shopping channel that specialises in crafts, lots and lots of amazing crafts.
You can find them on Sky 663 and FreeSat 817 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and on Freeview 39 from 6am until 9pm. I warn you it’s addictive. The kind of channel you realise you’ve been watching for two hours and you don’t know where the time went, well at least if you love crafts like I do!
Hartley’s Jelly have created a tasty and fun recipe that you can make with the kids or maybe with a bit of help they could make for mum as a treat on Sunday.
They kindly sent me through a lovely box filled with some of the bits I woudl need to make up the pies as well as some of their latest latest products, the Fruit in Jelly pots and the new flavour in the 10cal Jelly pots, they also sent some lovely bits for L to make a card for me with.
So for Mother’s Day all I really want is to spend time with my little family, maybe go to the beach for a walk or be treated to a nice lunch out.
If I were to be purchased something and this truly is the biggest hint I can make, ahem ahem, then here are a few things I would love.
I love a good subscription box, they are one of may favourite things. A box full of surprises through your door, what’s not to love? I also love crafting, I enjoy little projects that I can make quickly as I don’t have much time for my own crafting nowadays. Surprise Box Club has combined these two things so I was very excited to get to review a box.
