Has it Got Wheels? Toys from Jazwares

L is a very lucky little boy. He doesn’t realise the extent of this. He looks forward to the postman  arriving and he will ask the same three questions.  ‘Is there a parcel today?’ ‘Is it a present for me?’ ‘Has it got wheels mummy?’ Usually I have to say I don’t know, but when I saw the box from Jazwares arrive I was safely able to answer yes to all three.

Feeling Calm #68

For my birthday last year I was given a great book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday since and on Wednesday’s (or late on a Tuesday) I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.

L and I have just had a nice week. The weather has been fabulous. We’ve been in the garden so much. Just being outdoors is so good for the soul. I don’t think I’ve felt this calm in a long time.

So here are my top ten moments from the last 7 days:

This Plus That Equals…. My Perfect Summer

This plus that equals…. my perfect summer

Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about what would make my perfect summer, a wish list if you will.

This Plus That Equals…. My Social Life

This plus that equals…. my social life

Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about my social life.

I was reading a thread on Mumsnet last night where I girl was asking if it was unreasonable of her to be a bit hurt by her friends effectively icing her out. Why? Well because she had a child it seemed. Her social life seemed to be a lot like mine, and her friends, well they aren’t friends at all.

The Benefits of Travelling

I have never travelled in the sense of going on off on some great adventure all by myself. I’ve gone on holidays. But always with someone. I’ve seen a lot of places and had amazing experiences. The idea of travelling, really travelling, I find quite a stressful thought. But what are the benefits of travelling?

Noddy Toyland Detective App Review

I know, I know. I’ve gone from never reviewing apps to doing two in close succession. You see whilst I’m happy for L to use my phone or a tablet I would like to expand his horizons away from YouTube Kids. So the Noddy Toyland Detective App really appealed to me.
