L recently got sent a lovely box of toys from Jazwares, including some fab Peppa Pig sets and Miffy toys. To start with I was going to run two separate reviews but as L has been mixing and matching them since the second they arrived, which is one of things I love, it only makes sense to cover them together.
This plus that equals…. giving cats tablets
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is an amusing little insight into my life at the moment, wrestling a daily tablet into a cat.
When we got asked to review the new Peppa Pig’s Family Home set I straight away said yes. L loves Peppa and has recently really got into games where he gets to be the character and play out little scenarios with his toys.
This plus that equals…. why quick parenting isn’t lazy parenting
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is a little rant from me. A rant about why taking parenting shortcuts is not lazy parenting.
Now there are several press outlets who would have us believe feeding our kids fish fingers for tea is a sign of our sheer and utter laziness of parents and we must all be ashamed of ourselves. Pah. Here’s why they are wrong.
A couple of weeks ago I was invited to Jimmy’s Farm Festival by Beaba. The innovative baby brand were sponsors of the festival and alongside nutritionists Purple Carrot were holding some great workshops over the weekend. So I went along to see what I could learn. This plus that equals…. getting ready for school
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about getting ready for L starting school.
Now he is only three, I don’t even have to apply for his place until September and he won’t start until the following year. I’m already thinking about it though.
L adores his train set. It’s a lovely wooden one, so fits BRIO and loads of other brands. We have added to it over time and it’s getting pretty massive but when we were offered the chance of review the BRIO Police Station we jumped at the chance.
The BRIO Police station fits all the BRIO train and road sets. It has a roadway section the attaches to it and a rail section that runs along the side, there’s no where for the bad guys to escape to!!
It comes with a policeman and a bad guy as well as a police that has flashing lights and a siren. L literally loves it. Continue reading BRIO Police Station – Review
This plus that equals…. cheering myself up
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about the little things I do to cheer myself up.
I’ve been a little overwhelmed of late, spreading myself too thinly, taking on too much. The cat is ill, L hasn’t been sleeping well, I am stressed, husb is stressed and it’s taken its toll. So I thought I’d share the little everyday things that have been cheering me up.
