L has been lucky enough to be sent his very own puppy and, as if that wasn’t good enough, he has got a Panda to call his own too. This is all thanks to Sinco Toys and their fabulous Zookiez and Wobbleez ranges.
With summer just around the corner, I’ve been thinking of fun activities to do around the home. Juggling life with a husband and toddler can sometimes leave play time a little stagnant and repetitive so I had a brain wave. What if I transformed our garage into a garage play-den? From the instant L saw his new Henry Sit n Ride in the box he was excited. A little red ride on toy with a loveable Henry Hoover face.
I had to build it straight away. I am amazed that he recognised it as a vacuum cleaner. We don’t own a Henry, to the best of my knowledge no one he knows does. There’s no hose or cleaning attachments. Just Henry’s nose, which would be where the hose attached. Yet straight away he wanted to help me clean.
When Sarah from Love Bomb Cushions got in touch to see if I’d like to review some of their products and the free to download game app I honestly didn’t know what to expect. I love to support parents with a work from home dream like mine though, so of course I said yes.
Love Bomb Cushions is a family business manufacturing novelty Cushions and plush items. Sarah set it up whilst I was at home with her kids a couple of years ago. All in the hope that she could earn a living around them. So all very close to my heart as you can imagine. Continue reading Love Bomb Cushions & App Reveiw
For my birthday last year I was given a great book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday since and on Wednesday’s (or late on a Tuesday) I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.
So last week I mentioned I was feeling stressed due to some changes at work and feeling bogged down with blog work. Well as I wrote I thought to myself that I could completely fix it. So I did.
I got my bum out of bed ridiculously early one morning and blogged my little heart out. Bam, one problem solved.
As for work, well, I’ve done what I do best. I’ve gone in with a smile on my face and a determination that regardless of the attitude of those around me I will be positive. That, coupled with a good bitch about my day to husb and a gin when I get home, means I’m doing OK.
So here are my top ten moments from the last 7 days, they’ve been good:
This Easter L has been lucky enough to be one of the first kids to get to try out some of the range of New Chuggington Toys before they have even hit the shelves.
As regular readers know he loves anything train related and getting a delivery of toy trains the day after our big #RailAdventure was awesome. Continue reading Our Delivery of New Chuggington Toys
I cannot be the only person who feels this way, but kids toys now need a ridiculous amount of batteries. It’s not one or two. It’s three, or four, or even more. So I asked Varta if they could help. I’ve worked with them before using the amazing power packs they make, so I figured Varta Rechargeable Batteries would be perfect.
This all started when I bought L a toy at Christmas that flagged up a warning before I completed the purchase. I was warned that this toy required 4 AA Batteries and 4 AAA Batteries. Yes one toy needed 8 batteries.
We have been enjoying the sun and getting ready for Easter with JCB Kids. We had a JCB Easter egg hunt, L dressed up as a bunny, it was great fun.
L has never watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles so I wasn’t sure what he’d think of his Half Shell Hero Mutant Loader Vehicle complete with Mikey when it arrived for us to review.
Simply put he loves it.
Teeny tiny Tonka Trucks. Well L was always going to love these but I’ll admit I had my doubts, I mean they are really small, so how much would he get from them? Well quite a lot it turns out.
