I’ll be honest. I hadn’t heard of Star Monsters until really recently. Shocking as they are now in their second series. When I went to FunFest a few weeks ago they had a stand and we got chatting. Straight away I could tell they would be something L would love. Continue reading Star Monsters
Good quality, fun and educational gifts for small children. That’s what Gifts for Little Hands are all about, so when they got in touch to see if we would like to review a few items, of course I said yes.
They kindly sent L a fab parcel of goodies and boy was he excited. A great magnetic shape puzzle, some number cards and a fab magic phonics card. L got to playing immediately. Continue reading Gifts for Little Hands – Educational Toys
However much I’d like to be able to take L to The Natural History Museum all the time, it’s just not practical. Thankfully the Natural History Museum Shop has some great options so that we can enjoy the fun at home.
We have been checking out the amazing Stegosaurus Hatching Finger Puppet which is £12 and a lovely First Colouring Book all about the Garden which is a bargain at £3.99. Continue reading Summer Fun from The Natural History Museum Shop
Hopefully you saw the Animal Jam Twitter Party I helped host a few weeks back, well since then L has been sent a bundle of the toys to play with and guess what? He loves them! He’s always asking to play with his nanimals.
In case you don’t know much about Animal Jam, I certainly didn’t until recently. It’s an online game for kids that has been made with National Geographic. You get to collect animals, decorate their houses, change how they appear, play games and find out loads about the Animal Kingdom. Continue reading Animal Jam Fun
When I was a child I loved my LEGO. It was the prized toy. With so many possibilities and it has certainly notched up a gear since I last played with it. When LEGO asked if we wanted to review some of their newest kits I of course leapt at the chance.
First I shall share with you one of the most tragic moments of my young life.
I was given the LEGO Pirate Ship for Christmas one year. It was amazing, huge, with rigging delicate rigging, cannons that fired little LEGO cannonballs, it even had a parrot. It was the best.
