I’m a bit of a closet puzzler, I’ll admit it. I love a good jigsaw puzzle and recently L has been getting more and more into it which is just lovely, so I was really happy to get a lovely delivery of puzzles and games from Jumbo.
You may have seen the TV adverts for Magic Tracks, it’s a fun and easy track system for race cars. It bends,is flexible, glows and is super easy and fun to use. L got sent the starter set and has been putting it through its paces.
Magic Tracks is a 2016 top ten toy success story from the US and it has just launched in the UK. The track itself comes in 4 colours, is chunky and strong whilst still remaining completely flexible. The track clips together almost like puzzle pieces and just snaps apart.
L hasn’t quite mastered putting it together by himself yet, but has really grasped the taking it apart, moving it around and creates amazing tracks all by himself. I am often only needed to clip the last two bits together.
We have been playing with Crazy Claw from Drumond Park recently, so I thought I would give you our verdict. Mine and L’s differ slightly on this one.
I’m going to start by pointing out this game is aimed at ages 5 and up. L is only 3. So I was always completely aware there may be parts of the gameplay he didn’t quite get and that maybe he wouldn’t be able to do it all.
A couple of weeks ago we had another fun delivery from JCB Kids. As always L was very excited and absolutely delighted with his new goodies.
He got some fabulous pajamas from the range available at George, great digger printed bottoms with a fun Joey top which quite frankly he could wear as a T-Shirt, there is a chance that he maybe has! At only £9.00 for the set I think this is really good value, everything washes up well and has been tumble dried several times. Continue reading Reading with JCB Kids→
L loves Paw Patrol. If allowed he watch it from the moment he wakes to the moment he fell asleep. He often enjoys running around the house pretending to be on various rescue missions with the pups, it’s all very cute.
Well they are mini plush toys from Hallmark and are released under various collections, such as Star Wars, Marvel, Peanuts, Wizard Of Oz, DC Comics, Scooby-Doo.
They’re great gifts for children, collectors, or for fans of these movies/characters. I love the Peanuts collection and am lucky enough to have both Snoopy and Charlie Brown. L is more of a super hero kind of a boy so he has Spiderman and Superman.
It is fair to say that being a JCB Kids Brand Ambassador has made L’s year, a ready supply of digger and tractor themed goodies delivered to his door to test out has been no hardship for him.
This month the delivery couldn’t have been better timed, it was waiting for us the day we got home from Bluestone. We had just had a lovely break but L had been really unwell on the last day and we had just driven home, in one day, so L had been in the car all day. Tired, bored and poorly it wasn’t a pretty combination, so seeing a lovely JCB parcel when we got in really changed our evening He perked up straight away, playing happily whilst we unloaded and got ourselves a bit organised.
Research reveals parents are planning to spend the festive season – and beyond – sitting down and enjoying some good old family fun with their children. The market for table-top games is booming as ‘quality time’ becomes more precious than ever before. This may not a surprise to many of you, as I know you love playing a board game with your kids as much as I do.
I am incredibly excited to have partnered with JCB Kids as a Brand Ambassador. It’s no secret that L loves tractors and diggers, his recent birthday was full on JCB themed, so he’s been a bit excited too.
What this means for you is that I’ll be showcasing some of their latest products so that you can see what’s out there. L will put them through their paces first and I’ll let you know what I think and where you can get them. We can’t wait to #DigTheAdventure with everyone. Continue reading JCB Kids – Toys and Clothes→
