When we went on holiday with Verdant Leisure we made the most of all County Durham had to offer, including a visit to Beamish. Well two actually! So I thought I’d write about our experience.
If you’ve been reading my blog you will know we have recently had our first ever camping trip. We had a fab time and are looking forward to going again, so who better to partner with for a competition than Zippo. Continue reading Win an Amazing Zippo Prize Bundle
Like every parent we crave a bit of time off, so when Wynyard Hall asked if we would like to stay I grabbed the opportunity to get L off to his grandparents and booked some time in their Spa!!
Wynyard Hall is in County Durham, so a fair old journey for us, but we were yet to celebrate our wedding anniversary and love the area having recently been on holiday nearby so it was perfect for us. I am so glad we made the journey. It is seriously the most luxurious weekend I have ever had. EVER.
I love a good holiday, but there are certainly elements I find very stressful, so I use Rescue Remedy.
Check out my vlog over on YouTube to find out what makes me feel the stress. Continue reading 5 Things I Find Stressful About Holidays
Enter our travel competition for the chance to get away from the daily grind and experience three nights of back-to-basics fun this summer with Camping in the Forest!
In a recent survey* carried out by Camping in the Forest, figures revealed over a third (35%) of us would like to return to the care-free days of being eight years old. Not only that, 19% of us miss camping holidays the most when it comes to the things we miss about our childhoods.
Last week I was lucky enough to go to a great event hosted by Bridgestone to see just what a difference their Driveguard Tyres could make in an emergency.
I was blown away.
The main point of Driveguard Tyres is that they are Run Flats, so if you get a puncture you can carry on driving. With Driveguard Tyres you can actually drive for 50 miles at a maximum 50 mph.
This plus that equals…. my perfect summer
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about what would make my perfect summer, a wish list if you will.
How fabulous has the weather been? Not to be too British about it, but it has been a bit too warm on occasion #melting! It’s certainly got me thinking about those things that go towards making a perfect summer.
Whilst we were on holiday with Verdant Leisure at their stunning Heather View Leisure Park in County Durham a couple of weeks ago we had some lovely days out. I’m going to try to write about them all over the coming weeks, but today I wanted to share our trip to Diggerland.
We are not long back from the most fabulous holiday with Verdant Leisure. We spent Half Term week in County Durham, at the beautiful Heather View Leisure Park which is only a walk away from the town of Stanhope.
It’s a long old drive from Norfolk to County Durham. Long! L handled it like a trooper though. It’s fair to say when we arrived at Heather View he was eager to get out of the car. Our lodge was quite ready for us when arrived so we took the chance to have a little wander around the site.
