Safety First with Bridgestone Driveguard

Last week I was lucky enough to go to a great event hosted by Bridgestone to see just what a difference their Driveguard Tyres could make in an emergency.

I was blown away.

The main point of Driveguard Tyres is that they are Run Flats, so if  you get a puncture you can carry on driving. With Driveguard Tyres you can actually drive for 50 miles at a maximum 50 mph.

This Plus That Equals…. My Perfect Summer

This plus that equals…. my perfect summer

Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about what would make my perfect summer, a wish list if you will.

How fabulous has the weather been? Not to be too British about it, but it has been a bit too warm on occasion #melting! It’s certainly got me thinking about those things that go towards making a perfect summer.

A Day Out at Diggerland

Whilst we were on holiday with Verdant Leisure at their stunning Heather View Leisure Park in County Durham a couple of weeks ago we had some lovely days out. I’m going to try to write about them all over the coming weeks, but today I wanted to share our trip to Diggerland.

Our Verdant Leisure Holiday at Heather View

We are not long back from the most fabulous holiday with Verdant Leisure. We spent Half Term week in County Durham, at the beautiful Heather View Leisure Park which is only a walk away from the town of Stanhope.

After a long journey the play area was a welcome find

It’s a long old drive from Norfolk to County Durham. Long! L handled it like a trooper though. It’s fair to say when we arrived at Heather View he was eager to get out of the car. Our lodge was quite ready for us when arrived so we took the chance to have a little wander around the site.

The Benefits of Travelling

I have never travelled in the sense of going on off on some great adventure all by myself. I’ve gone on holidays. But always with someone. I’ve seen a lot of places and had amazing experiences. The idea of travelling, really travelling, I find quite a stressful thought. But what are the benefits of travelling?

Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about long journeys with a toddler.

It doesn’t seem to matter how you travelling. Where you are going. All long journeys seem to consist of the same things.

Vertigo Adventures

Last Sunday husb and I headed off to Welwyn Garden City for a day of challenges with Vertigo Adventures. An amazing high ropes centre in Stanborough Park.

A glimpse of the high and low ropes

Now I’m not a fan of heights, I have no co-ordination and was a very long way out of my comfort zone. It was still one of the highlights of my week though. Husb on the other hand was in his element.
