This Plus That Equals…. Little Things I’ve Found

This plus that equals…. little things I’ve found

Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about those little products you find that are just amazing. Ones you start to wonder how you ever got by before them.

Last week I was asked to review Biotrue® Daily Eyelid Wipes from Bausch + Lomb, they had teamed up with TheraPearl who make the Eye-ssential Mask for the ultimate in eye care treats. Well I’ve been using the Eye-ssential Mask for a good couple of years now and that got me to thinking about all those little products I’ve found through blogging that I now use all the time.

Lumie Iris 500 Bodyclock

I first ran this review back in November 2015, but as I am still using the Iris every single day and we have since added the Active 250 to our collection, I felt it was time to refresh it a little.  Before I get into the joys of the Iris 500 I thought I’d share a little project Lumie are working on with Leeds University. Feeling Calm #46

For my birthday I was given a great new book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday and on Wednesday’s I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.

Apart from a dreadful migraine this week has been good. Busy, crazy, fairly stressful but good. If I’m honest things feel a bit more normal now, more calm, I don’t want to jinx it or anything, but I might just be finding my groove.

So here they are, my top ten moments from the last 7 days:

I’ve already covered, eat and drink ideas for you, today is all about things people want. Continue reading Christmas Gift Guide 2016 – Want

How we use Heinz Soup

Of course I use Heinz soups as soup. A meal in their own right. A quick meal at that. But it’s not all you can do with them. With the weather turning cold and the nights being oh so dark, oh so early, here are a couple of my favourite winter soup uses.

Kids & Parents Gaming Tips from PlayStation

A couple of weekends ago we took a little trip to London with L. We had been invited to a Parenting & Kids Showcase with PlayStation.

For L it was a really exciting day, he got to go on the Tube, hang out with Mummy & Daddy, as well as getting to play a lot of games! He had a fab time.

Getting serious about his game

I’m not a massive gamer, in fact I barely touch games at all. Husb loves it be we are always short on time, so his console gets a bit neglected and quite honestly it’s not something we’ve really done with L at all yet.  Continue reading Kids & Parents Gaming Tips from PlayStation
