Amazona Zoo Turns 1

So a couple of weekends ago whilst I was in London enjoying a weekend away and going to see the Foo Fighters play at the London Stadium, L was busy attending a very important birthday party at Amazona ZooAmazona

I remember Amazona Zoo opening and how excited we were to first visit. It was immediately right up there as one of our favourite places to visit. Then we had L and saw the zoo in a different light, a great day out and with it’s family friendly changing facilities, cafe and a decent soft play it always made a great day out for us. Amazona

I can’t believe it has been open 10 years, I really can’t. Of course they celebrated in style with a Teddy Bears picnic and L was invited. He opted to take his aunt and uncle along, you know, just to chauffer him and feed him if required. They all had a blast. Amazona

My sister and her husband had never been before, so L was happy showing them round at the same time they hunted down bears on a trail around the zoo. Amazona

They even stopped to meet Paddington Bear, not that I am at all jealous, it’s not like Paddington is a hero of mine or anything like that. Amazona

As I’ve already written about all you can find at the zoo before, you can read my review here if you want, I’m not going to go into it too much. I’m just really happy that we were able to be involved in the celebrations and just wanted to wish Amazona Zoo a belated happy birthday and thank them for inviting L to celebrate with them. Amazona

Also thanks to my sister for taking L so he could enjoy it and for taking all the lovely pictures. Amazona

Disclosure – my family were guests of the park for the celebrations but this article was not requested nor expected, I just genuinely wanted to say thanks.
