Astonish

I’m actually not minding this lockdown. I’m at home with my family and other than going to work in the evenings and our daily walk for some exercise I’m staying put.

Astonish

L and I are doing a little bit of school work everyday, he reads me a book, I read him something. We practise his writing, do a little maths and then we’re out in the garden. There’s been lots of football, we’ve planted seeds, we’ve even got a tub of frogspawn.

Don’t get me wrong there’s plenty of TV and tablet time happening as well and we’re doing a bit of craft or sticker booking. We are working on a massive puzzle and I’ve got a Sea Monkey tank to set up. We’re keeping busy. The days are going fast and we are occupied. I am so on top of the housework it’s ridiculous.

Hob Cleaner

I got some new cleaning products from Astonish and I’m putting them through their paces.

There’s an oven cleaner and hob cleaner. Both pleasant smelling pastes that came with their own special sponges to use. They work really well and smell delicious but I’ll be honest, I find my usual cleaner easier. It’s all down to personal preference though.

The cup cleaner is a game changer though. I don’t drink tea so I’m used to nice clean cups, but after a summer of building work last year, nearly all my mugs have awful tea stains. With this product from Astonish you just pop a teaspoon of the powder in each cup, fill with boiling water and leave. Then they are sparkly clean and just need a quick wash ready to be used again.

Who knows what the next few weeks will bring but at least I’ve got a clean house, a fun garden and a routine that’s working for us.

Disclosure – we were gifted our products from Astonish in return for our feedback. All thoughts, opinions and images are my own.
