CLIF Bar, America’s favourite energy bar brand, have launched a new flavour to their range, and I tried it out it.
The new Coconut and Chocolate Chip Energy Bar is filled to the brim with good stuff, making not only great for a pre or post workout snack but also super filling. Continue reading A New Flavour CLIF Bar – Review→
To get me in the mood for summer I’ve been using some of new range of organic coconut-scented products from Urtekram.
Urtekram means ‘herbalism’ in Danish and they specialise in amazing organic body care products. I’ve been a fan of Urtekram for a while now, I love their Rose range and I’m a big fan of the Nordic Birch as well, so I was really excited to get to try out some of the new Coconut range.
This plus that equals…. Kids TV that makes me want to scratch my eyes out
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. Last week I shared my fave TV shows, this week I’m sharing the ones I hate most, and yes they are all kids TV shows. Needless to say they are all things my boy loves to watch, on loop, for hours. I have somehow managed to miss Masha and the Bear, it’s not been a show on my son’s radar, so when we were asked to review the new DVD collection from Abbey Home Media I didn’t know what to expect.
Turns out Masha and the Bear is really adorable, there’s friendship, fun, as serious dose of cuteness and a lot adventure. This is their first DVD collection and I reckon there will be a lot more to come. Continue reading Masha and the Bear – How They Met→
Being a mum is a wonderful thing, but not an easy job. It takes a lot of strength to sacrifice all your dreams and pay attention to your baby unconditionally. What if you don’t really have to pick a side? What if you are given the opportunity to earn from home and do what you like without depending on anyone?
I love getting outdoors with L, we are always playing and investigating the world together. I’m a big believer in getting grubby and just having fin but recently it has become apparent that maybe I need to be teaching him a bit more about nature.
So in about a year I am going to be a bridesmaid for my little sister. This is just the kind of goal I need to diet, start losing some weight and getting healthier, which all ties in nicely with my quest to be a calmer, happier and healthier person.
I have decided to vlog about my journey as that will give me a visual reminder of where I’ve been and where I am and as it’s something that makes me rather uncomfortable it will also help to keep me in check. Plus it’s always good to push yourself.
For my birthday I was given a great new book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends to help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday and on Wednesday’s I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.
Oh my word wasn’t the weather over the weekend AMAZING, if anything was going leave me calm and happy it was a hot weekend filled with splashy paddling pool fun, a few ciders and a BBQ at my sister’s. I’m slightly concerned that we’ve used up all the good weather though, we’re off to Devon at the weekend and last year we got the worst weather, this year I would at least like it to be dry.

I’m not sure if I’ll update my top ten next week, or do a top 20 when we’re back, but in the meantime here are my top 10 moments from the past 7 days;
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week I thought I’d share my favourite TV shows, I love them all but for very different reasons, you might be surprised! Continue reading This Plus That Equals…. #12→
When I started blogging two years ago the aim was to help me find a way, any way, to stay at home. I tried a few different things, took a few courses and found myself working as a Social Media Manager. I was able to leave my admin job and am now officially self employed. I thought I would start sharing some of the things I have learnt along the way.
I have spent enough time working from the sofa on my laptop, it has it’s benefits that’s for sure, but I have found it increasingly more and more important to have my own workspace and here’s why.
