Castle Quarter and Get Me Out The Four Walls to host virtual Halloween Spooktacular
Castle Quarter has joined forces with Norfolk charity Get Me Out The Four Walls to create a virtual Halloween Spooktacular. The online event takes place from 11am on Saturday 31st October and is open to all.
Virtual party goers will be in for a fun-filled day, including: a Halloween quiz, fancy dress catwalk, musical bumps and lots more.
L loves a giraffe, it is his favourite animal of all time. His first toy as a baby was Gerry the Giraffe, Gerry was with in him hospital and has rarely left his side since, nursery, school, holidays, doctors appointments, haircuts, you name it Gerry has been by his side. Gerry is a shell of his former self, well loved barely covers it, but this is what started the giraffe obsession, an obsession that lead us to Icon Wall Stickers and the biggest giraffe gift yet.
As you know I’ve been on a quest to find some different ways to make sure Halloween stays fun this year.
I’ve found balloons and cakes and bugs and crafts. I’ve even found mini breaks away and experience days. Halloween is sure to be fun this year and different in many ways. I’m happy that L won’t miss out just because he can’t go trick or treating with all his friends like he wants.
I’m not an ale drinker but the husband is and I have often bought him Hobgoblin because I like the cans. That and the fact he really likes the Hobgoblin Ruby. This Halloween, in keeping with the fact Hobgoblin is best sipped in the dark, they have launched a special Beer & Bugs Snack Pack and we got sent a mini version to try.
Hot on my mission to find the perfect ways to make L’s Halloween super special this year, a sweet treat that isn’t actually sweets, was high on my list. What could be better than cute and super yummy Halloween themed cupcakes from Send Them Cupcakes.
Tomorrow (9th October) sees the launch of the new Ben 10 Power Trip video game and we’ve been lucky enough to have had a few days in advance to see what it’s all about. I’ve popped the game trailer below, so you can see what it’s all about.
I love to craft and I love to craft with L too. We’ve made so many things together over the years, some have been successful and some haven’t but we’ve always had fun. So obviously Halloween crafting was on the agenda.
After writing about some grown up Halloween experiences last week, it got me thinking about much fun it really would be to get away and do something different this year. That being said, I still the love the idea of having some flexibility around when you actually travel and not having to commit to dates unless you are ready to, so I’ve come up with some more options but this time from the fabulous Red Letter Days.
Have you watched the guys from FGTeeV on YouTube? I’ve caught snippets here and there because L loves them.
Well now they’ve launched season two of their toy range and we’ve been sent a selection to have a look at. L was delighted, not only because he’s watched them on his tablet but also because the range include blind bags and he does love a blind bag.
If you are looking for a fun surprise that’s 100% going to bring a smile to your child’s face this Halloween then get them balloons from Send Them Balloons. They’ve brightened up our house no end.
