Lost My Name make personalised books and their latest tale is all about space travel. L loves rocket ships and the moon at the moment so we were all to eager to have a look at it.

The Incredible Intergalactic Journey Home, follows your child and his robot friend on a little intergalactic space adventure. As you do. But an incident with a spilt drink leaves them without their SatNav. This is where the adventures start and they have to find their way home. 

With lots of help from those they meet they eventually make it back home.

L’s name is featured throughout the book. He is the main character. His name is even written in the stars. More than that they have included a satellite view of our actual street and surrounding countryside. Amazing. You even get a choice of differently illustrated characters. With things like different colour hair you get the option to pick one quite similar to your child.

We read to L all the time but to see his excitement about being in the book was a real treat. He got really excited that the book was about him, he even thought he was actually going to space, so there have been a lot of new, very bouncy and jumpy, adventurous space games being played in our house.

The book is just the perfect length for a bedtime story. It is funny and so exciting and an absolute pleasure to read. The illustrations are marvellous. Most importantly the level of personalisation makes it an incredibly special book, one you will cherish for a lifetime.

The order process is really straight forward. You are prompted to add in all the information required. You also get to have a little play with the aerial shot of your street so you can make sure it lines up how you want.

We all love this book so much.  I will certainly get more books from Lost my Name in the future. They are just so special and such good quality. In my mind there is little better to gift than a personalised book.
