I have already been lucky enough to review a couple of the Boxcitement Subscription Boxes and I loved them, so I was more than happy to take a peak at the Animal Magic Box they sent out last month.
If you missed my previous reviews Boxcitement is a subscription box service that sends you a letterbox friendly box filled with lovely things, designed to excite, perfect for people who love to give gifts and receive them too, with cards, stationery, jewellery, the cute and the kitsch.
Even just opening these boxes is fun, everything is beautifully displayed, wrapped in tissue with some things in little bags and others out, a bundle of surprises. Here’s a little video I made of the unboxing.
In the Animal Magic Box I got some very lovely things;
I adore the cute wooden rabbit that simply slots together, I did think about maybe colouring him in, but then decided I rather like him just the way he is.
These lovely earrings in their little gift box would make the perfect present for someone, the only trouble is, I don’t think I could bring myself to part with them.
On my dressing table in my room I have a lovely vase filled with cheery blossom branches (fake I’m afraid) and from the branches already hung several small owl decorations so now my little bird has joined them. SO perfect.
Again I got two amazing greetings cards, printed on great cardstock. I love just the simplicity of being sent a couple of cards a month to keep my supply topped up. This time it saved my bacon in terms of Easter cards, my Nan always sends me one and I always forget but this time I was saved!
My friends and I often just write little notes to each other if we need a boost or if the kids have drawn something silly. I’m a big believer in happy mail. So these postcards were just perfect to add to my letter writing stash and the zebra print pencil is perfect.
Another beautiful and useful addition to the box were the sheets of animal print tissue. Tissue paper makes the perfect base for gift wrapping, you can wrap, scrunch, cover even the most awkward of shapes so it’s great to have on standby.
