It’s January so we’re all looking to eat a little better. Whether it’s a New Year’s Resolution to eat better or generally be healthier. Or, like me, you just can’t look at another bit of cheese for a while after December’s diet of cheese, chocolate and mince pies! You might not have time to be cooking from scratch every night though, so the new range of Balance Range from Weight Watchers by Heinz may be just the ticket. Continue reading Quick, Easy and Healthy – Weight Watchers from Heinz
Scrummies are a delicious and healthy snack aimed at children. Yummy, scrummy fruit in perfect snacking packaging we received a lovely box of samples to try. In the midst of December indulgences they couldn’t have been better timed, or more gratefully received. We also had some Clearly Scrumptious adult snacks too, but L wasn’t fussed by that distinction and claimed everything for himself.
As anyone who entered my recent competition will know, Turtle Bay have launched their first ever Christmas menu. So we did the only logical thing and went to try it out. Hopefully my competition winner will enjoy it as much as we did. Continue reading Trying Out the Turtle Bay Christmas Menu
Ready Brek have teamed up with Despicable Me 3 to offer some great prizes when you buy a box of their yummy and warming breakfast. We got sent a lovely package of Ready Brek and Despicable Me 3 goodies to celebrate.
So what happens when you put a Minion on the front of your kid’s favourite breakfast. Well, the breakfast choice becomes even easier, no arguments over toast or cereal, yoghurt or porridge. Last week I was lucky enough to attend a special Signature event at McDonald’s on Boundary Road in Norwich. Husb and L were especially pleased they had been invited along as well. We were there alongside some lucky competition winners to find out all about the new Signature Collection of burgers and McDonald’s collaboration with Julien Macdonald OBE.
New Jelly Babies Tropical with banana, mango and pineapple flavours have hit the shelves!
It’s the first time ever a new flavour of Jelly Babies has been created and they are yummy. Trust me. We’ve tried a few. Even comparing them to the originals, just to be sure. Continue reading Jelly Babies Tropical
For many, Christmas isn’t Christmas without a Pickled Walnut but if this is your first foray into the Pickled Walnut Club, then we suggest that you use them to accompany Christmas cheeses or crack open a jar on Boxing Day as they go really well with cold meats too.
What is Cornish Cup I hear you ask? Well I had no idea either, but as soon as I found out it involved Gin I wanted to try it. So I have been duly sipping away and am here to tell you all about it and what I think of it.
I’ve never been one to shy away from taking L to McDonald’s. If we’re travelling it’s perfect and he loves it as a special treat. There’s one everywhere you go, you know what to expect and it’s always great value. I was really excited to be invited along to a blogger event at the McDonalds by Norwich Airport.
