I have been trying very hard over recent months to make sure I drink enough water, but I hadn’t given much thought to how much L was drinking. So when I saw the Robinsons #EnjoyMoreWater challenge with BritMums I just knew I had to take part.
Facts – 64% of parents say they do not know how much water their children should be drinking each day, 42% saying their children find the taste of water boring.
L is definitely right there with the finding water boring, he has always enjoyed squash in his drinks. So in about a year I am going to be a bridesmaid for my little sister. This is just the kind of goal I need to start losing some weight and getting healthier, which all ties in nicely with my quest to be a calmer, happier and healthier person.
I have decided to vlog about my journey as that will give me a visual reminder of where I’ve been and where I am and as it’s something that makes me rather uncomfortable it will also help to keep me in check. Plus it’s always good to push yourself.
Duerr’s jam have a fantastic range if jams, marmalade and sauces and I have been experimenting with the Grapefruit Marmalade as it is just a bit different from the norm.
Of course breakfast is the obvious choice, spread thick on toast it a wonderfully zingy way to start the day but for something a bit different why not try my Sticky Grapefruit Drizzle Cake. It’s easy, super tasty and works every time! Continue reading Sticky Grapefruit Drizzle Cake→
