A couple of weeks ago it was International Table Top Games Day and to celebrate we were sent a selection of classic table top games to play and review from John Adams Toys and Ideal. So here I am with game number three, Triominos. Continue reading Triominos – Review
I’m always on the lookout for fun summer games I can play with L. We love being outdoors and running round and have no end of garden toys. I am always happy to add to his outdoor toy selection though, anything that keeps him outdoors is great in my book. So we were delighted to be asked to review Sling Stix. MiniMaster Football was recently showcased on ITV’s This Morning as one of the top toys to look out for in 2018 following their launch at Toy Fair, so of L and Husb were eager to try out. To be fair I’m not sure which one was more excited.
Wordsearch Junior is a great game from my favourite guys at Drumond Park. We’ve been lucky enough to get one to play with at home. I also have one to giveaway.
As it is aimed at ages 4+ and they have been very clever with the wordsearches themselves, meaning they are great for several different age groups.
I have a Cars obsessed little boy at home and since the very second he started seeing the trailers for Cars 3 on TV he has been desperate to go and see it. We’ve been able to put it off for a little bit with the new Piston Cup Race Game from Jumbo.
See what we thought of it and also get a chance to win a game for yourself in my competition. Continue reading Cars 3 Piston Cup Race Game Review & Competition
I know, I know. I’ve gone from never reviewing apps to doing two in close succession. You see whilst I’m happy for L to use my phone or a tablet I would like to expand his horizons away from YouTube Kids. So the Noddy Toyland Detective App really appealed to me.
I’m a bit of a closet puzzler, I’ll admit it. I love a good jigsaw puzzle and recently L has been getting more and more into it which is just lovely, so I was really happy to get a lovely delivery of puzzles and games from Jumbo.
Better yet they have also got a great bundle of kids games and puzzles for one of my lucky readers to win. Continue reading Win a kids game and puzzle bundle from Jumbo Games
We have been playing with Crazy Claw from Drumond Park recently, so I thought I would give you our verdict. Mine and L’s differ slightly on this one.
I’m going to start by pointing out this game is aimed at ages 5 and up. L is only 3. So I was always completely aware there may be parts of the gameplay he didn’t quite get and that maybe he wouldn’t be able to do it all.
