“Tragedy Should Not Stop Calendar’s Release,” says Brave Mum

A charity calendar will go on sale despite one of the featured babies tragically dying of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) aged just six weeks and five days old.

Millie Brear’s photo was taken for a charity calendar inspired by Call The Midwife, but sadly she died just days before the calendar was due to go on sale.  The calendar was expected to raise thousands of pounds for a number of baby charities.  However, Millie’s Mum, Chloe, has said that the tragedy should not stop its release adding, “We hope her perfect little face makes people smile.  I took Millie along in the hope that she could help out with the cause.” Continue reading “Tragedy Should Not Stop Calendar’s Release,” says Brave Mum

Mother’s Day Puzzling with Wentworth

For Mother’s Day this year  Wentworth wooden puzzles have created a beautiful Mother’s Day Jigsaw puzzle and they kindly sent me my very own to have a look at.

The With Love Jigsaw is £29 for a 250 piece puzzle. Now 250 pieces may not sound like many but boy is this thing tough. I’ve been working on it for days now, grabbing moments as and when I can and I have only just completed the edges!
