Power on the Go with mophie

Powerbanks. We’ve all heard of them. Many of us have used them. But they’ve got their drawbacks, big and cumbersome or tiny and barely help. Not all that attractive and wires tangling everywhere in your bag or pocket. The Powerstation Mini from mophie solves all that and I’ve been putting it through its paces.

Conscious Chocolate – A Review

Never one to turn down chocolate I was very intrigued to try the offerings from Conscious Chocolate. As a general rule I don’t go too fancy with my chocolates, I prefer a good quality dark chocolate over a milk, but it tends to just be off the shelf from the supermarket and enjoyed of an evening. Conscious Chocolate offers something a bit different, being a raw chocolate and I was intrigued to give it a go.

Oxford Rye Organic Vodka

We have recently had the pleasure of trying Oxford Rye Organic Vodka, it’s a sublimely smooth drink and would make an excellent Father’s Day gift. I’ve enjoyed it over ice with a good tonic and played around with garnishes, finding that lime slices and and a few cranberries works nicely. Having thoroughly enjoyed it I’ve got some more information about this wonderful drink to share with you, so please read on.

Faceittea Review & Competition

I’ve been very excited to try¬†Faceittea, a sustainable skincare brand that looks to revitalise your skincare routine with all-natural plant-based ingredients, and also help look after our planet with zero-waste packaging.

I’ve recently been trying out the Vegan Life Immune Multi-Vit, one of the supplements in the Vegan Life range. Vegan Life offer targeted nutrition for Vegans and Vegetarians, or just anyone who wants a good vitamin that is sustainable.

I am pescatarian and have been my whole life, but that isn’t what drew me to Vegan Life, it was the fully compostable packaging and sustainably sourced ingredients. I am actively trying to reduce our plastic use and general waste and this is just a super easy swap. I take a daily multivitamin already, now I can continue doing so without the plastic.

Eco Friendly Firelighters fireDRagon

With barbecue season on it’s way, the weather must get better soon surely! Barbecues across the country are getting cleaned and ready to go, charcoal is being purchased and burgers are making their way into shopping baskets ready to be enjoyed. So I thought I’d share a great new product with you, FireDragon from BCB International.

FireDragon is an eco-friendly firelighter made from rotten vegetable mass. It sounds horribly simple, and it is, but it could mean great things for the planet if people make the switch. HRH Prince Charles called it “remarkable” on a recent visit to BCB International.
