So if you read my blog a bit then you’ll probably know I’m a huge Beatrix Potter fan and that L love the new Peter Rabbit tales from TV, so he was super excited to get to review the latest DVD offering.
Now my heart is always going to lie with the classic tales, there’s no denying that, but there is something about the new Peter Rabbit that has L transfixed. I think it’s the action more than anything, he adores it when they are being chased in their cart and he loves the owl, even if he’s one of the naughty ones. I have somehow managed to miss Masha and the Bear, it’s not been a show on my son’s radar, so when we were asked to review the new DVD collection from Abbey Home Media I didn’t know what to expect.
Turns out Masha and the Bear is really adorable, there’s friendship, fun, as serious dose of cuteness and a lot adventure. This is their first DVD collection and I reckon there will be a lot more to come. Continue reading Masha and the Bear – How They Met→
I love getting outdoors with L, we are always playing and investigating the world together. I’m a big believer in getting grubby and just having fin but recently it has become apparent that maybe I need to be teaching him a bit more about nature.

Please tell me I am not the only one who sometimes finds themselves standing at the fridge wondering how on earth you are going to prepare a meal with what you’ve got, one that’s quick, easy and will be enjoyed by your toddler. It’s not just me is it?
Kiddyum Range
I wish I was the kind of mum who was organised enough to always have meals planned and live with a permanently stocked fridge, but I am not. So when Kiddyum got in touch to see if L would like to try some of their frozen ready meal range I was really excited.
When I was a child I loved my LEGO. It was the prized toy. With so many possibilities and it has certainly notched up a gear since I last played with it. When LEGO asked if we wanted to review some of their newest kits I of course leapt at the chance.
L’s new LEGO
First I shall share with you one of the most tragic moments of my young life.
I was given the LEGO Pirate Ship for Christmas one year. It was amazing, huge, with rigging delicate rigging, cannons that fired little LEGO cannonballs, it even had a parrot. It was the best.
It doesn’t matter how hard I try, sometimes I have to work whilst the little one occupies himself.
The main problem with this is that as soon as I am doing something, he decides that is way more exciting than whatever was holding his attention up until that point, so I have had had to become the master of quick and easy activities that he actually loves.
We have been lucky enough to work with Wolfie +Willow, reviewing a pair of their super stylish leather moccasins.
