There are two things I really love. Subscription boxes and crafting. Craftiosity combines the two. A completely flexible subscription box of modern craft kits with a new craft and make each month.
I was sent the September box to try out for myself and I loved it.

In my box I got everything I needed to make a Papercut Lamp. And I mean everything. The only things I had to find at home were a pencil and an eraser.
Everything was beautifully packaged, it was a treat to unwrap. There was a lot to unwrap as well!

There was a cutting mat, 2 scalpels so I didn’t have to worry about them blunting, all the paper, templates, instructions, glue and even the LED Tealight. Oh and on top of all of that there was a teeny little seed bomb as an extra treat, which I planted with L, much to his delight.

I was really impressed with the contents of the Craftiosity kit. It meant that literally anyone could be up and running within minutes. Even for me it was handy. I’ve got a cutting mat and scalpels, even tracing paper at home, but I would have had to have found them. This way everything was together, in one handy box. I kept the box until I finished the project as it was handy to keep everything together.

The instructions were brilliant, very comprehensive. Papercutting isn’t a craft I have done before, not to any real extent. I’m so happy with the results though and that is because the instructions were so good, very clear and the pictures were in full colour. The project had been very well thought out as well.

I’m so pleased with the results. I love my little lantern, it looks great and has bought some greenery into my craft room, which is where it will live. Safe from cats and toddlers.

Priced from £18 plus P&P per box these offer great value for money. With my project complete I’m left with some top quality equipment and a lovely lantern. It’s a great way to build a kit of crafting staples, in fact I would say it’s how any self-respecting stash could start. It’s certainly added to mine very nicely.

The next box will be a fab lino cut printed tea towel project. It looks stunning.
If you want to try it out, my readers can get £5 off their first subscription box by using code KQK86V5Q, so why not. You can cancel at anytime and are never tied in. It’s a great way to try something new and reclaim a bit of time for yourself!
