Since our extension was finished last year and we now have a dining table (whoop!) I have developed a love of a seasonal centerpiece. Autumn we had a vase filled with conkers and some candles. Halloween saw the addition of pumpkins, eyeballs and bats. Now I’m starting to think about Christmas with a little help from JR Decal.

My Christmas centerpiece will need to be easily moved for the couple of occasions we have guests and all of the food. If of course we’re allowed guests, but I’m choosing to believe we will. I want it to be bold and bright, I want it to be cute and festive. To be fair I was a bit stuck.

When the guys from JR Decal got in touch to see if I would like to feature some of their products I was immediately drawn to the framed prints. They have a lovely festive range and you can personalise them. Framed pictures are easy to move and I could pick prints that fitted with my theme.

I went for three prints in the end. An A4 Christmas Tree personalised with our family name and two smaller A5 prints, one with a cute reindeer, the other with a snowflake. I’ve got them all in different frames, black, white and oak, this was mainly to showcase the three different types JR Decal offer, but I actually love the mismatched look it gives the display, I feel it gives me more room to change and add things without spoiling a regimented look.  

I can easily move these gorgeous pictures from my table to the sideboard when people come over or if I need more serving space and I think they create a lovely welcoming Christmas display. You could even add some of your own favourite festive family pictures to the display, at the moment I’ve gone for some LED candles and classic cinnamon sticks and orange slices, but I know I’ve got a framed picture of L’s first trip to see santa with the rest of the Christmas decorations somewhere and I’m pretty certain I’ve got a picture of him and Christmas Shrek too, so they would add really nicely to the display.
