Hot on my mission to find the perfect ways to make L’s Halloween super special this year, a sweet treat that isn’t actually sweets, was high on my list. What could be better than cute and super yummy Halloween themed cupcakes from Send Them Cupcakes.

I love to bake but I can’t decorate for love nor money. I always look at these fancy cupcakes and know I can’t replicate them at home, so finding a place like Send Them Cupcakes, which will do all the hard work and then post them to your door is the perfect solution for me.

Trust me when I say we had a lot of fun testing the cakes out! The sponge is delicious, firm and moist and full of flavour. The icing is very tasty too and looks amazing.

These cupcakes would make the perfect dessert for a Halloween meal, I would say party but I very much doubt we’ll be allowed them, it’s hard enough when you can only see 6 people and I think things may get worse. So quite frankly let’s just eat all the cake and make sure it’s good cake, cake that tastes great and makes you smile.

We tried out a couple of different types of cupcake, we had some spookily cute ghost cupcakes. A lovely madeira cake with plenty of ghostly white icing and a spooky face. They looked so sweet and tasted great. They come in a pack of six in a lovely gift box, so would make a great gift too.

We also tried the pumpkin cupcakes. A mix of three madeira and three chocolate sponges that either have scrummy chocolate icing or very tasty orange icing. These are then topped with hand crafted decorations. Again they come in a lovely gift box and were super delicious.

Seeing L’s face when he realised he had been posted cakes was such a treat. He was really happy and why wouldn’t he be, because you know, cake!

I was really impressed by the service and delivery. Everything was really well packaged and arrived promptly. I loved that the cakes came with a free card so you could a message to the recipient and was very impressed with the choice and price.

I would certainly recommend Send Them Cupcakes if you are looking for a bit of a different gift to send someone or just want to treat yourself. They are delicious.
