This is a super easy, really quick chicken recipe that you can serve with chips, mash and veg or just in a sarnie. In fact it’s so easy it barely counts as a recipe! All you need is small chicken fillets, a bottle of Jack Daniel’s Honey Barbecue Glaze and some cooking oil.
In the morning before you pop off to work, or when you’ve got a spare few minutes pop the mini fillets in a zip lock bag, add a generous helping of the JD Honey Barbecue Glaze, seal, shake and pop in the fridge until you’re ready to cook it.
I like to leave it at least 6 hours, but have left it ready in the fridge for days (within the chicken’s best before, obviously) and have also used it only a couple of hours later.
When you are ready to cook heat some oil in a frying pan, reduce to a medium heat and cook the chicken, with the mini fillets this only takes about 10 minutes.
Serve as desired.
Husbs top serving tips are:
Hot in a sandwich with fresh crusty bread.
With mash and green beans.
On it’s own straight from the pan.
He loved the flavour sweet honey flavour with the added hint of Jack Daniels, warm and smokey. The glaze helped keep the chicken really succulent and was really easy to use and so versatile.
Verdict – 10/10
