We are a very outdoorsy family and spend a lot of time in the garden. L loves being outdoors and exploring nature. He was very excited to be sent a special bird feeder from the Chapelwood Children’s Range.

As soon as his lovely Owl Bird Feeder arrived we had to go and fill it up to give the birds their tea. The feeder is best filled with peanuts or sunflower hearts, but all we had in the house was a mixed bird seed and L had decided the birds needed their tea right that second! Obviously there was a bit of spillage but it holds the mixed seed well.

It has a large easy to fill design. I love how the design appeals to young gardeners and wildlife enthusiasts. It is also quite grown up and fits very nicely in our garden. Definitely one of the most attractive bird feeders I have seen.

The owl bird feeder from Chapelwood has a large hanging hook but also a screw fitting at the bottom so you could pop in onto a feeding pole. We have used the hook. I was able to hold L up so he could hang it in the tree himself.

It’s easy to use and clean. Great to look at. Holds a lot of bird food. Both L and I love how it looks and the birds are enjoying it too.
I’m a fan of anything that helps encourage kids to take an interest in the natural world around them. This fun bird feeder is just perfect.

The Chapelwood Owl Bird Feeder is £7.99 and available from leading garden centres. There is also a Bumble Bee feeder in the range, which is adorable. Chapelwood make many other feeders, wildlife habitats, nest boxes and more.

Disclosure – we were sent our bird feeder in return for an honest review.
