National Stationery Week

#GetCrafty for National Stationery Week

We are coming to the end of National Stationery Week and I wanted to celebrate with my favourite of the days this year. #GetCrafty sponsored by Crafter’s Companion which takes place tomorrow.

My love for stationery started a long time ago but crafting was there first and like any first love, it holds a special place in my heart.

Thankfully there’s a lot of cross over between stationery and crafts, especially paper crafts. That’s why I was so happy to see Crafter’s Companion joining in with National Stationery Week this year.

Crafters Companion

I have been using Crafter’s Companion products for ages. I love their Spectrum Noir range and was really excited to be sent some of the new Metallic Markers. I love them. With brush tips and a beautiful metallic finish in a vast range of colours these really make my cards pop and colouring is a dream Even for a simple bit of text in a Christmas card they are perfect.

I also want to mention some of The Makery sets they are selling, not really because they are stationery related but because I finished a project last night I’m proud of and want an excuse to add the picture!! They are in fun takeaway themed boxes with everything you need to craft a fun project. Last night I finished an Embroidery Hoop and I’m about to start a Clasp Purse kit.

The main reason I’m featuring Crafter’s Companion this National Stationery week is because to celebrate it they have added some amazing downloads to their site.  With templates for fun things like Washi Tape holder’s, which I have of course made as I was in genuine need of some Washi Tape storage, and loads of fun papers you can print off. It is the perfect combination of craft and stationery and makes me very happy.

Love these downloadable papers

So wherever your particular love of stationery lies, even if you don’t think you are a crafty person, maybe just check these downloads out. They are fun, easy and if you combine them with the papers they look great. You’ll also find loads of other great things, like the colouring ranges and paper crafts sections. There is a lot to love with Crafter’s Companion.

My Washi Tape Holder

I think it’s only fair I mention some of the other fab brands that have been getting involved with National Stationery week this year, especially as they sent me a very exciting box of stationery that made me squeak with delight.

We have Nu: and their fabulous notepads, they are such amazing quality and you have a friend who has just got a new and very important grown up job, the notepads make excellent gifts especially when combined with a Cross Pen.

Mustard was a new discovery for me and they are amazing, dinosaur highlighter anyone?! I fear I’ve lost mine to L, but I’ll get it back as I need a backpack wearing T-Rex highlighter in my life. Need it!

Santoro sent some really cute folders and a daily organiser which I love, especially as it featured a little space to plan a daily treat, whoop.

My Desk and Washi Tape Holder

Of course National Stationery Week would be the same without the London Stationery Show, all the brands and so many more will be there and it looks like it’s going to be great.

Don’t forget I’ve got a great stationery competition running at the moment with Stabilo, there is still time to enter.

So let’s hear why stationery matters to you!!

Disclosure – I was gifted some products from National Stationery Week and Crafter’s Companion. All opinions are my own
