If you are looking for a fun surprise that’s 100% going to bring a smile to your child’s face this Halloween then get them balloons from Send Them Balloons. They’ve brightened up our house no end.
I’m fully aware Halloween is going to be a little odd this year, Trick or Treating isn’t going to be allowed in local lockdown areas and I should imagine will be avoided most everywhere else anyway. Our village is working on a pumpkin trail for the kids, which will be lovely, but not the same as going out after dark, with all your friends and coming home with enough sweets to feed the family for a week.
With this in mind I’ve been looking for little things I can do for L that would make this year special and fun. He’s already missed out on so much and quite frankly we’re over it.
When I found out about Send Them Balloons I knew it was exactly the kind of thing I was after and they very kindly sent L over the biggest Halloween balloon stack you could imagine. We went for the spooky but cute Halloween Stack Super Shape Balloon.

You can only imagine his excitement when a huge box arrived at the door. (So huge he’s currently living it!) I carefully pulled the tape off for him and let him open it. Out popped two star balloons and a pumpkin, sitting on a mummy, on top of dracula! He literally squealed with delight. He’s so happy with it and as if that wasn’t enough, at the bottom of the box amongst some star tissue paper was a bag of mini pumpkin chocolates.
Like most kids L has always loved balloons, especially of the helium variety and to get them delivered to house was such a treat. Because we went for the three balloon option we also got the free gift of the pumpkin chocolates, that taste like Christmas according to L, but we could have chosen to have cupcakes instead if we had wanted!

They didn’t last long
There are loads of Halloween choices on the website, as well as all the other occasions you would expect balloons for.
You can add extras to your order if you want, birthday cakes, bears, truffles and more can be added if you would like. With lockdowns popping up all over the place, this could be your one stop shop when it comes to sending a gift which is just a bit more special than most.
L is super happy that his massive Halloween balloon arrived in time for his birthday next week, in fact he has claimed them as his birthday balloons, who knows if they’ll last the month to Halloween night, but they’ll definitely make it to next Friday, especially as they even sent a little straw so we could top the balloons up as they start to deflate, just to make them last that bit longer.
L has chosen to leave the balloons next to our front window so that anyone passing can enjoy them too. Each morning since they arrived he has been making sure to get up and open the blinds so that they are on full display.
For a simple way to bring a bit of joy to the house these balloons have been a big hit, I’m loving Send Them Balloons and will certainly be using them again. With great customer service and reasonable prices I couldn’t be happier. L is delighted and even the cat is enjoying playing with them, pulling the weight around on the floor. Top marks from us.
