I often chat about my lovely cat James, he has been my baby for longer than my actual baby, my centre of fluffy calm when I was in a bad place and my comfort whenever I have been sick.

So why oh why have I not featured him on the blog? He wanted to get the chance to review something, to be the star of the show, to get all the pictures.
So when PetShop.co.uk said they were in need of some feline taste testers it seemed only fair to let Mr James in on the action and he was only too willing to participate.

They sent him a lovely box of goodies, I’ve never seen his ears prick up and whiskers twitch so much. He has been thoroughly spoilt and I fear he will never go back to his normal food again.

He got three pouches of the amazing Almo Nature Cat Food, made with top quality ingredients I can honestly say I’ve fed my husband worse looking meats, there are plenty added vitamins and minerals to keep James in tip top condition and most importantly he loved it. The purr said it all.

As James eats a mix of wet and dry foods he was also sent a bag of Canagan, a premium dried food, now during the day James can be a bit of a devil he will pester me and pester me for food, I swear he is the hungriest cat in the world! The Canagan however really seemed to satisfy him, a dry food for him is his bread and butter, his normal, something he doesn’t get excited about, but he really enjoyed this one. He had the Scottish Salmon flavour and really enjoyed it.

His final treat was always going to be a success, his favourite of all the treats, Dreamies, you know when it says cats will do anything for Dreamies, it’s actually true. He adores them, they got a big high five.
James was very happy to be able to try all these new foods and he has put the Almo Nature pouches on his Christmas treat list!
PS. This is what he looks when you try and take away his snacks!

Disclosure – we were sent a box of goodies in return for our honest review
