This Easter L has been lucky enough to be one of the first kids to get to try out some of the range of New Chuggington Toys before they have even hit the shelves.
As regular readers know he loves anything train related and getting a delivery of toy trains the day after our big #RailAdventure was awesome.
He loves the Chugger’s and is often found watching his Chuggington DVD and listens to his Chuggington Audiobook almost every night. He squealed with excitement when the postman knocked on the door and saw the box with a nice big Chuggington label on it.
We filmed the unboxing so please do take a look. There’s even a little toddler rendition of the Chuggington theme tune which is sweet.
L just adores his new Chugginton toys and loves that he can collect more of them. I haven’t been able to work out which one he would like next, he just wants them all!
The starter track set we got is just enough to get going with and I would certainly think about getting some more for him. For me it’s simple things, like the little boxes the single Chuggers come in actually fitting onto the track and the track set coming in a zipped storage bag, that make it so great. Oh and there is minimal pain caused if stood on, a big plus!
The Connec-Trax system is also compatible with a lot of other pre-school track systems which is handy. Although we have used wooden tracks in our house, it’s nice to know we can now expand and add to his Chuggington Train Set easily.
I can see us using this when we travel as it all packs away so nicely and is super light. As well as being big enough that nothing will get lost! The same cannot be said for the wooden train tracks we have collected for him which I would never dream of leaving the house with.
I can’t wait to have a look at the other sets available and add to our collection, I wonder if we’ll be able to get all 24 Chuggington trains? The new Chuggington toys are rolling into to stores over Easter so you should start seeing them really soon.
