CLIF Bar, America’s favourite energy bar brand, have launched a new flavour to their range, and I tried it out it.

The new Coconut and Chocolate Chip Energy Bar is filled to the brim with good stuff, making not only great for a pre or post workout snack but also super filling.

The bar has a mix of organic rolled oats and organic coconut pieces with dairy-free chocolate chips and 10g protein, providing an all important energy boost to help support an active lifestyle, that’s super tasty and really enjoyable.

My husband is a massive fan of these bars and was really excited to see I had some in the house, with all the sports he plays an energy bar is perfect and he really likes the flavour of CLIF bars.

The trouble is he hates coconut.

He trots into the house and before I know it he is yelling from the kitchen, ‘Bri can I have the CLIF bar, have you taken pictures?’ He’s well trained in the blogging world now.

Before I can answer with a ‘sure you can eat but I don’t think you’ll like it, it’s coconut’, he’s back in the living room chomping down on it. At this point I need to mention there is now form of sport on the horizon, he just fancied it, that’s how nice they are.

Needless to say he wasn’t too keen on the new flavour but that did mean that I got to eat some and I have to say that coconut and chocolate mix really works.

Inside a CLIF bar you will find not only a source of protein and fibre, but also 11 vitamins including B6 and B12 which contribute to the normal release of energy for use in the body.

CLIF Bar is available in seven delicious flavours – Chocolate Chip, Crunchy Peanut Butter (the best just in case you were wondering), Oatmeal Raisin Walnut, Blueberry Crisp, Chocolate Almond Fudge, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut and the new Coconut Chocolate Chip.
