So Slime DIY – Review

I had managed to avoid the whole slime craze with L, but I have caved. Only because the right product came along though. June see’s the launch of Canal Toys in the UK and their So Slime DIY range is excellent. Mainly because it is easy and mess free.  Continue reading So Slime DIY – Review

Feeling Calm #116

For my birthday a couple of years ago I was given a great book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday since and on Wednesday’s (or late on a Tuesday) I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.

A whole, entire week at home, no holidays or bank holidays. No time off work or nursery. Just a normal week. That’s been very nice in itself actually. We’re all pretty burnt out and L has been, quite frankly, horrific. It’s just been so non stop since we got back from Turkey and we’re away again next week, I’ve been craving some normality.

Here are my top ten moments from the last 7 days:

Hangsun Water Flosser – Review

As weird as it might sound I have wanted to try a Water Flosser for ages. I know, I have all the best goals in life. But honestly, I really have wanted to try one for ages. Trouble is I just didn’t know what made a good one, how much I should be spending, or anything at all about them actually. So getting to review the Hangsun Water Flosser HOC510 has been brilliant.  Continue reading Hangsun Water Flosser – Review

Inateck Laptop Backpack – Review

I was recently contacted by Inateck to see if I would like to review one of their products. I chose the Laptop Backpack and I am impressed. So impressed actually.

Never before has a backpack entered this house and caused us to squabble over who could have it. We’ve had some really nice backpacks before but this Inateck product has raised the bar significantly.  Continue reading Inateck Laptop Backpack – Review

Feeling Calm #115

For my birthday a couple of years ago I was given a great book ‘Calm’ and a journal from my friends. To help me find some calm in my life and to de-stress a little. I have been writing in my journal everyday since and on Wednesday’s (or late on a Tuesday) I go through the daily highlights I’ve written down and pick out my 10 favourites.

I’ll be honest, this week it has been very hard to remain positive. After my car developing issues and my laptop failing last week I was just about managing to hold it together. My website has since been hacked, now fixed, thank god and I got home tonight to find the cat had a giant abscess that was leaking puss everywhere. We have an airlock in our water pipes that is refusing to budge and one of the chairs for our garden set has broken, somewhat like my sanity.

Regardless, here are my top ten moments from the last 7 days:
