This is a bit later than I had planned. With everything that has been going on I’m just not as organised as normal. Christmas is feeling entirely daunting and it’s so close now. If you are feeling a little overwhelmed like me, I’m hoping this gift guide will help. I’ve found thoughtful, fun and hopefully perfect Christmas gifts for everyone.Continue reading Perfect Christmas Gifts
Last Friday I went to watch the Thursford Christmas Spectacular with my friend. Neither of us had been before, so we were really excited to check it out.
From the moment we arrived it was just magical. Trees covered in lights everywhere you look, from the carpark guiding you in and as you walk through an archway into Thursford the magic only increases. With animatontric huskies barking their greeting and even more lights than you would have thought possible.Continue reading Thursford Christmas Spectacular
Autumn is hands down my favourite season, I’m definitely wild about Autumn. Chunky knits, hot chocolates a plenty, beautiful colours and a mix of wonderful weathers that can be delightful and dramatic all within half an hour.
I’m sat here writing this, cosy inside as the rain is beating down against my window and oddly I’m looking forward to the school run. Because on the way home we can jump in puddles and run and splash and get as cold and wet as we please, knowing that home is waiting with warm blankets and a hot drink. The perfect way to brighten my very grey day will be splishy, sploshy fun with my kid.Continue reading Wild About Autumn
My baby boy is now 6 years old. SIX!! How did that even happen? This year I was very clear to him that he could either have a party with all of his school chums, or he could have a special day out with his bestie.
He opted for a special day out, which was lovely and perfect (and a real relief as it was cheaper and more fun for me) but I had a surprise up my sleeve for him. As a treat I said he could invite three friends round for a birthday tea after school, so he could have cake and a but of fun.Continue reading A Happy Birthday with ZURU Bunch-O-Balloons Party
I love the Autumn. I love the cold, crisp days. The sunshine, the crispy leaves, Halloween and Bonfire night. Autumn is my favourite season. The best season.
As soon as the weather turns, the chunky knits are unpacked. Hats, scarves and gloves, my squishy and warm coat. I always love the swap from between my Summer and Winter wardrobes.Continue reading #ACEWinterRefresh Challenge

Well as it turns out the building work was the easy part of the extension. Actually filling the rooms afterwards has been the hard part, especially when we’ve spent all the money on actually building the place! So we’ve been trying to add some personal touches and make it feel homey without spending too much, thankfully ASDA photo had some great products to help.Continue reading Personal touches with ASDA photo

We were recently sent two fab toys from the Thomas & Friends range by Trends UK. A Thomas & Friends Smart Tablet along with a Thomas & Friends Flip & Learn Phone. Aimed at preschoolers (18m to 4yrs) these were a little young for L so they went to one of our friends to use and explore.Continue reading Thomas & Friends Learning Toys
Now that the building work is finished and the decorating is done we’re at the final stage of our build. Just flooring left and then actually moving into the rooms. Rooms with lovely, big, fresh, blank walls. Walls crying out to to be filled.
The spare room is going to be my room. A craft room, an office, a space for me to get on with my work and have some quiet. I have picked out some lovely blinds, painted the walls and know that I will be moving my hand painted bureau in.Continue reading Fresh Blank Walls
