This plus that equals….my Spring wish list
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is all about a few things I would like to get sorted now that Spring has sprung.

Book a Holiday
I mentioned last week how we had been struggling with our reduced level of family time. That has of course had me thinking about a week away, quality time away from the home.
We can be just as stressed but somewhere a bit prettier and without having to worry about the housework.
I think just getting something booked and in our diaries will help, whether it ends up being in the Spring or later in the year. Just having something to look forward to will brighten our moods.

Spring Clean
It’s a complete cliché but I’m feeling the need for a good Spring clean.
We had got really om top of the housework but then I got a new job and now Husb is working longer hours too it has got away from us a bit.
I just want to blitz the place, so we have a clean slate so to speak, one that we can hopefully keep all clean sparkly.

Get into the garden
Oh our poor little garden got a bit neglected last year. I have some big plans for it over the next few weeks I just need the sun to start shining on my days off!
All I need is to do a bit of pruning and get some more plants in the beds that will look after themselves and fill the space nicely. I also need to clean out the water feature we added last year and to get a new swing chair or other form of seating as ours has broken and that makes me very sad.
Time is obviously still an obstacle but I have a few time saving ideas up my sleeve that will hopefully work out.

A Bluebell Walk
We used to live in the Estate House for a big hall. It was beautiful but only rented, it was also very draughty and I got terrorized by slugs. I digress.
The hall had a fantastic wood filled with Bluebells and as we lived on the Estate we got to wander round at our leisure. I miss this, especially the Bluebells. So I’m on a mission to find another local hall that opens its gardens to the public so I can my Bluebell fix.

Easter Egg Hunt
Last year we took L on one of the Cadbury’s Easter Egg Hunts that they ran with the National Trust. We visited Felbrigg and had an ace time.
L just loved it and we had a brilliant time as well. So I definitely want to another this year. I quite fancy Sheringham Park or Blickling Hall maybe. Hmm decisions, decisions.
Anyone else got something they want to accomplish during Spring?

Lovely list. We want to go to a national trust place to do an easter egg hunt and are having one at a friends for her daughter’s first birthday. I too need to spring clean!!#TwinklyTuesday
I love a good national trust trip. An egg hunt birthday sounds great, have fun!
All of this!! I am so excited for spring and the lead up to summer! Thanks for linking up with #TwinklyTuesday
There’s something about those first signs of spring that gets me really excited too, just love it xx

Aww this is a lovely wish list – many of these things are on ours too! Booking a holiday sounds like a great idea, like you say we may as well be stressed somewhere beautiful 🙂 #TwinklyTuesday

Yep the kid will still drive me crazy, I’ll still be stressed but at least I’ll be somewhere lovely and hopefully without housework! Thanks for popping by xx
I’m into organizing, recycling, giving away or throwing away as I can’t find too many things! #TwinklyTuesday
I regularly go through the house to get things in order and remove things we no longer use. Xx
