So in about a year I am going to be a bridesmaid for my little sister. This is just the kind of goal I need to diet, focus on my weight loss and getting healthier, which all ties in nicely with my quest to be a calmer, happier and healthier person.
I have decided to vlog about my journey as that will give me a visual reminder of where I’ve been and where I am and as it’s something that makes me rather uncomfortable it will also help to keep me in check. Plus it’s always good to push yourself.
During my journey I will be getting to try all kinds of new products and sharing my experiences of them with you.
So my last post was nearly bang on a month ago. Since then I have been to Bavaria and back. I have spent a lot of time in London for some very fun Christmas in July shows. I have also been to two 90th Anniversary celebrations and a wedding. So as you may have guessed the diet has not gone so well.
This week I had lost 3lb. Brilliant. But over the previous few weeks I’d piled a lot back on, so I’m not even at my lowest since starting this. Overall I have lost 8lb.
I’m irritated with myself and with my body. I hadn’t gone completely off the rails. But I can put on weight just sniffing food, loosing it is harder. I’m trying not to loose focus but I’m feeling like I need a real boost.
I’ve been using Yokebe, replacing two meals a day with one of their shakes. The forts week I lost 2lb, this week I lost 3lb, so it clearly works. It’s just the two weeks between that screwed me up.

I like using Yobebe. It’s quick, easy and tastes good. Really filling. Versatile. It’s also completely natural which makes me happy. I have also easily lost weight using it which is brilliant. I just need to find a way that works for me to keep weight off. Avoiding Christmas shows that feed me mince pies may be one way, oops.

Literally the only downside I have found to Yokebe is that it has a slightly gritty texture, a bit like there’s talc in there. You soon get used to it and it’s not unpleasant, but I have to be honest about such things.

The other thing I have been using is an online platform called Gym Cube. I have got a year long membership and have enjoyed how easy it is to use. I like how easy it is to set goals and track progress. Mainly though, I have enjoyed all the different types of workouts I can choose from.
There are programmes you can follow. Or you can just dip in and out as you fancy. I like the yoga/pilates style workouts mainly but I dabble in some of the more energetic ones too.
I love that I can add in my cycle rides so they count towards my goals.
It really is a good all rounder covering health, fitness and nutrition. I do really like it. But as it is online, it does still mean that it is me who has to go and do it. I do feel like I sometimes need a real life person to kick me into doing things.
All in all I’ve not been doing to badly, I just feel a bit in limbo and like I need to really notch things up a gear.
Disclosure. I was gifted the products mentioned for use in this article. All opinions are my own.
