Easter at Roarr!

Roarr! At Easter

We love Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, it always makes for a fabulous day out. I write about all the reasons we love it recently, you check that out here. As we’re currently in the middle of the Easter break it was on our list of places to visit, especially as they have added loads of extra egg-cellent activities for the holidays.

Easter at Roarr!

Children are invited to join Dippy and fall down the rabbit hole to Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure’s very own Easter Wonderland from Monday 8 – Monday 22 April in Lenwade,Norfolk.

Easter at Roarr!

Following on from the success of 2018’s Dippy in Wonderland, Dippy the Dinosaur has again joined forces with the Easter bunny and together they will bring the adventure park to life with characters and scenes from Lewis Carroll’s magical novel.

L and I met up with friends to enjoy a fun day out and have a catch up. We were guests of the park and our friends have season passes so it was the perfect place to meet. Plus it is halfway between both our houses, bonus.

We loved all the decorations and finding characters from the book, it added another element of fun to the park. We still went and found all out stamps to get a medal but we also went on an egg hunt to get an extra Easter gift, a small foil wrapped chocolate egg and an Easter mask.

L loved seeing the Queen of Hearts as she walked round the park, though wasn’t too keen on actually talking to her, just happy to have a giggle from a distance. Finding decorative eggs hidden everywhere was great too. The bright and colourful ribbons and eggs hung from trees helped to brighten a cold and dull day. It was just good fun.

We checked out Dippy-Ville, a brand new soft play area for younger visitors. L was unimpressed, he is too old for it, but we had just bumped into a friend with her kids, who are a lot younger and they were loving it. It’s far less hectic than the amazing Dino-Mite indoor play centre and better suited for younger guests.

Whilst we didn’t see the White Rabbit, he will be on hand in the park, doing arts and crafts in the Secret Animal Garden, and Dippy’s Disco Dancing is also back by popular demand, as park’s the beloved
mascot will be taking part in his Easter hop bop.

We had a great time on the Deer Safari, which we hadn’t done in ages. I think it was the highlight of L’s visit! We enjoyed watching everyone enjoy the Predator High Ropes as we ate our yummy fish and chips from Nautilus, it’s great that the high ropes are included in the admission cost and that so many people can enjoy them, even younger kids providing they are tall enough and L, despite being five, is actually tall enough to use them!

Dippy’s Splash Zone had opened for the 2019 season, but despite pleas from our children, it was too flipping cold for that! As soon as the weather is warmer though we’ll be back as L adores it.
