Fielding Cottage Norfolk Holidays has three wonderful rural ‘barn style’ cottages located their working farm at Honingham. Sleeping up to ten people, this is a perfect way to celebrate your hen do and have your friends enjoy a rural retreat while being only 11 miles from the vibrant city of Norwich.
By the accommodation, there’s a hot tub to enjoy* and just five minutes’ drive away is Barnham Broom Golf and Country Club where Fielding Cottage will give guests free access to the swimming pool, sauna and gym facilities.
Fielding Cottage host fun hen party cheese making ‘taster’ courses. Here the happy hens will have the opportunity to get cheesy and hands-on as part of their stay as the owner makes award winning goats’ cheese on site. The cheese taster courses can be tailored to your timing with lots of cheese and wine to try! Hens will also have the opportunity to try the range of Fielding Cottage Goats Milk Skincare range.
The hen will receive a luxury hamper filled with award winning Fielding Cottage goats’ cheese and samples from their skin care range to take home.
Norwich is famous for its many award-winning pubs, nightlife and fantastic restaurants. There’s something for everyone in this city from its famous all year-round outdoor market, it’s cobbled ‘Norwich Lanes’ with many unique independent shops, two large shopping malls, art galleries, cathedrals and a castle. Restaurants in the city cater for everyone’s tastes, with many restaurants offering Norfolk produce on their menus.
Fielding Cottage Accommodation includes:
This cosy self-catering cottage is situated on the first floor and includes a comfortable double bedroom, a spacious ensuite bathroom including a shower, a well-equipped kitchen and an adjoining lounge area. (Sleeps two, one double bed).
‘Kingfisher’ is bright clean and modern. It can sleep up to four people. The entrance leads in to a large open plan kitchen which has all the home from home conveniences you would expect and spacious living area, leading out to an outside patio.
Upstairs you will find two ensuite bedrooms, one master bedroom which has a bath and a shower, and a twin bedroom with an ensuite shower room.
‘Nightingale’ shares the same layout as Kingfisher with views looking out over the lawn and sleeps up to four people.
All the cottages available are child-friendly and a travel cot and stairgate can be provided on request. On site there is a hottub, a games room and a ping-pong table plus the opportunity to meet the goats and lots of space for outside dining and picnics.
The Goat Shed is the on-site shop selling their own goats’ milk and cheeses, as well as seasonal vegetables (such as asparagus and strawberries in the summer), eggs, coffee, honey, jams, ice cream and their Fielding Cottage Skincare range.
