Both husb and I listen to a lot of music. I good set of earphones is really important, but they have to be easy to use as well. Testing out the SoundPEATS Q12 Earphones has been a pleasure. 

We’ve reviewed for SoundPEATS before and really liked the Q9A we tried. The Q12 are a definite upgrade and husb has been using them for running, when he’s been outside mowing the lawn and general music listening.

The Q12 has the same great ergonomic fit we’re familiar with. But they have made the over ear loops smaller which is fabulous. In the box you get 3 sizes of Earhooks & Eartips, to guarantee a good fit for you.

They stay put in your ear so well, even when running. You never get that ‘about to fall out’ sensation with these. Mainly because they have never fallen out!

One of new feature I really like is the magnetic clip. The two earpieces ‘snap’ together. So you don’t have to find somewhere to put them when not in use or have to worry about losing them. 

The earphones use Bluetooth 4.1, provide great sound and have around a 10m connection range.

The Bluetooth also supports connection to two devices simultaneously but I’ll be honest and say this isn’t a feature we have tried, nor can I see we would need to. 

Connecting the SoundPEATS Q12 to your phone is easy . You just need to turn your Bluetooth on and sync. It even says through the earbuds when you are connected or disconnected. Handy.

The addition of a mic to the Q12 is really handy, so you can take calls on the go, as well as the usual skip/back/stop functions on the little remote on the earphone cable.
