Today is the first day of The East of England Co-op‘s sourced locally fortnight. I have always loved how the EoE Co-op has supported our local producers and this fortnight celebration highlighting what you can buy from local producers is an amazing way to discover new foods, last year I found Hadleigh Maid and I’m now addicted to their Hot Chocolate.
So last weekend in preparation I went on a shopping trip to my local East of England Co-op, grabbed myself a basket full of local goodies and created a couple of gorgeous recipes to share with you all. A fantastic cheesy stuffed mushroom and a simple two pig parcel. Continue reading Locally Sourced Meals→

Last week we were on holiday in Devon and we were lucky enough to have some amazing days out, but sometimes planning things to do with a toddler can be difficult, there’s a lot to think about, cost, activities, changing facilities, food, the list goes on. So here’s a run down of where we went and why we think they are awesome places to bring a toddler for some days out in Devon. Continue reading Top Toddler Days Out in Devon→
Devon is about 6 hours in the car from us, so with such a long way t travel there are a few things that we really need to have on arrival. A straight forward check in, something fun to do with L, food and a comfy bed. We were me with all these things. It was lovely.
So if you read my blog a bit then you’ll probably know I’m a huge Beatrix Potter fan and that L love the new Peter Rabbit tales from TV, so he was super excited to get to review the latest DVD offering.
Now my heart is always going to lie with the classic tales, there’s no denying that, but there is something about the new Peter Rabbit that has L transfixed. I think it’s the action more than anything, he adores it when they are being chased in their cart and he loves the owl, even if he’s one of the naughty ones. To get me in the mood for summer I’ve been using some of new range of organic coconut-scented products from Urtekram.
Urtekram means ‘herbalism’ in Danish and they specialise in amazing organic body care products. I’ve been a fan of Urtekram for a while now, I love their Rose range and I’m a big fan of the Nordic Birch as well, so I was really excited to get to try out some of the new Coconut range.
I have somehow managed to miss Masha and the Bear, it’s not been a show on my son’s radar, so when we were asked to review the new DVD collection from Abbey Home Media I didn’t know what to expect.
Turns out Masha and the Bear is really adorable, there’s friendship, fun, as serious dose of cuteness and a lot adventure. This is their first DVD collection and I reckon there will be a lot more to come. Continue reading Masha and the Bear – How They Met→
Being a mum is a wonderful thing, but not an easy job. It takes a lot of strength to sacrifice all your dreams and pay attention to your baby unconditionally. What if you don’t really have to pick a side? What if you are given the opportunity to earn from home and do what you like without depending on anyone?
I love getting outdoors with L, we are always playing and investigating the world together. I’m a big believer in getting grubby and just having fin but recently it has become apparent that maybe I need to be teaching him a bit more about nature.
