Eco Friendly Firelighters fireDRagon

With barbecue season on it’s way, the weather must get better soon surely! Barbecues across the country are getting cleaned and ready to go, charcoal is being purchased and burgers are making their way into shopping baskets ready to be enjoyed. So I thought I’d share a great new product with you, FireDragon from BCB International.

FireDragon is an eco-friendly firelighter made from rotten vegetable mass. It sounds horribly simple, and it is, but it could mean great things for the planet if people make the switch. HRH Prince Charles called it “remarkable” on a recent visit to BCB International.

Finding our Inner Child with Camping in the Forest

Camping in the Forest recently conducted a survey and found that 48% of parents said they miss the lack of responsibility which came with being a child and 37% of parents worry their children are too wrapped up in technology. So we spent the weekend with them at their Holmsley site the New Forest camping and unleashing our inner child.

Enter our travel competition for the chance to get away from the daily grind and experience three nights of back-to-basics fun this summer with Camping in the Forest!

In a recent survey* carried out by Camping in the Forest, figures revealed over a third (35%) of us would like to return to the care-free days of being eight years old. Not only that, 19% of us miss camping holidays the most when it comes to the things we miss about our childhoods.

Camping in Cromer

New to north Norfolk is Cromer’s only campsite, launching from the last week of July and for the month of August 2017.

For me this is really exciting as I have such fond memories of camping at nearby East Runton as a kid and walking into Cromer for the carnival, so actually being able to camp in Cromer itself will be amazing.

Outdoor Cinema, Any Time, Any Where

Can you remember a little while back I had a fabulous trip to Bavaria with BenQ to check out there latest projector. The GS1. It’s small, easy to use and designed for outdoor use. Perfect for camping and caravanning.

You may also know that I booked my first ever outdoor cinema trip this year and it was a disaster. With storms, rain and a deflating screen.

Well I never should have bothered with the outdoor cinema trip because now I’ve got my very own BenQ GS1 and I can have my cinema experience whenever I want. Inside. Outside. Pretty much any time of the day too. In my jammies, with wine, food and without having to queue to have a wee.
