Big Fun in a Small Package

Who else struggles for space in their house? Hands up. I know we do and the older L gets the worse it seems to become. His toys seemingly multiply overnight, not to mention the fact that as he has grown his toys have too.

For ages now we have wanted to get him some form of play house, but we physically haven’t had anywhere to put one, apart from the garden and have you seen how much a wooden playhouse for the garden costs! To have a playhouse in his room would mean not being able to open his wardrobe. To have one in the sitting room would either mean not being able to see the TV or not being able to open the door, neither of which are good options.

Our Child Friendly Water Feature

The one thing that I have always felt has been missing from our garden is a water feature. But with L I have to be careful over what I pick. It has to be a child friendly water feature. I have to have confidence it that. Of course I turned to Primrose, with such a wide range of stock they have never let me down.

Pickin’ Chickens Review & Competition

Pickin’ Chickens is a fun new game from Drumond Park. We’ve been lucky enough to get it early and have been testing it out at home. I also have one to giveaway.

The added fun part is the fox that springs from the middle.  If he catches you then you have to give one chicken back. He loves the fox! Continue reading Pickin’ Chickens Review & Competition

Barbecue Party Review & Competition

Barbecue Party from Drumond Park is the ideal game for the summer. We’ve been testing it out at home and have one to giveaway.

As it is aimed at ages 4+ the lovely folk at Drumond park were aware it was a little too grown up for L, but as my friends all have older kids it’s nice to have something in the house for them to play with.

Of course as soon as it arrived it was unpacked ready for the older ‘children’ to play with. By this I blatantly mean the husband and I, so we set it up one evening after L had gone to bed.  Continue reading Barbecue Party Review & Competition
