I love a jumper. It’s the best bit about the cold weather but I often struggle with finding a nice warm jumper that I can wear comfortably under a coat. Something warm yet thin, soft and definitely not scratchy. If it looks good that’s also a bonus!
Recently the guys at Lands’ End asked if I’d like to try one of their cashmere jumpers out, it was an easy decision to say yes but a lot harder to actually choose which one I wanted to go for, they are all so nice. Classic designs that are perfect for me and a stunning choice of colours and patterns.
Anyone who knows me will be fully aware that spending hours shopping for clothes is not my thing. I like just to find a few key items that look great and are comfortable and practical. This is especially important to me over winter!
Last weekend I went to my Aunt’s wedding. I had no idea what to wear to an autumn wedding and I’m not the kind of girl to have a wardrobe full of options. Thankfully Pink Clove came to the rescue. Continue reading Dress Shopping with Pink Clove→
Summer this year seems never ending and I am loving it but it has made me realise that my summer wardrobe is lacking. To the point I’ve had to resort to ‘holiday’ clothes, yep, I’ve worn my holiday shorts out and about in actual public. The shame!! So I’ve been working with Simply Be to create a wish list, hopefully you’ll love everything as much as I do.
OK I’m going to be honest with you. I hate shopping. Hate it. I gain no pleasure from it but at least get new clothes at the end, when it comes to shopping for husb, not only is he a fussy bugger but I don’t get any new clothes, just stress. So I love to shop online and was very happy to give boohooMAN a try. Continue reading Shopping with boohooMAN→
When it comes to my blog poor old husb often gets left out. L and I get to try new things and go on all kinds of adventures, but husb, well not so much. This one is all about him though, with some great picks for men’s summer style from Jacamo. Continue reading Men’s Summer Style from Jacamo→
I am so bad at treating myself to new clothes. I’ll make sure everyone else has what they need before I even thing about myself. So I was really excited when JD Williams got in touch to see if I would like a few new items.
I am really bad at buying myself clothes, I will make sure everyone else has what they need and just make do with what I have got. This means my wardrobe is somewhat dull and it’s time to fix that.
My Beautiful Shirt
One thing I want to do as I lose weight is to treat myself to something new and beautiful at each new milestone, something that is me, something I feel comfortable in and something that is both beautiful and practical. So I have started with a wonderful floral shirt from Edinburgh Woollen Mill’s Country Rose Collection. Start as you mean to go on right?
