L and I love to get in the kitchen and bake. It’s quick, it’s easy and it’s fun. I’m not too bothered by the mess and I think it’s a good thing for him to do. So when Ulster Weavers sent us a few bits to refresh our kitchen and included an apron for him, we had to get straight to it.
Last Friday we went to London for a cooking lesson at School of Wok. Our session was an Introduction to Thai and it was amazing. Even though it was only a week ago, and I can’t believe how quickly that has gone, I would go again tomorrow.
I came across School of Wok in July when I went to the Dexham Christmas showcase, they had teamed up with School of Wok on a range of Woks and utensils. During the event we had a mini lesson with Jeremy Pang the head chef there and met a lot of the team. I was really eager to go back so we arranged a full lesson. A few weeks back I wrote about the wonder Sourced Locally Fortnight run by the East of England Co-op. One of the amazing local brands they featured got in touch, Keejays, who are just over the Norfolk border in Suffolk.
