Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. 2017 is here, I can barely believe it, I swear I only blinked and a year just disappeared. I’m not really one for a New Year’s resolution, though I can see why so many people are, nothing like a new year for a fresh start. I just don’t tend to be that organised. I do, however, have a few hopes and dreams for the coming year. Continue reading This Plus That Equals…. A New Year→
Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. We’re midway through December and it’s nearly Christmas. Christmas is and always has been my favourite time of year. I throw myself into it whole heartedly and now I’ve got L to share it with I’m just even more excited. I’ve already shared my Christmas wishes, but here is a little bit about how I like to prepare for the big day. Continue reading This Plus That Equals…. Christmas→
Do you want some a bit of quick, easy and fun Halloween decoration ideas? Well you’re in the right place. L and I got our crafting on with some of the amazing products available from Hobbycraft and really dressed up our doorway.
We were lucky enough to be sent a #makeitscary gift hamper and we’ve had some real fun.
It seems to be ages since we last had a Baker Ross delivery. L and I have missed the fun crafts and easy inspiration they provide.
Last week, to get us ready for Halloween and get into the Autumnal spirit we got a great selection of crafts delivered. I love the fact that at only three years old they still have loads that L can join in with. From simple colouring in to more interesting crafts.
This week it was my bestest friend’s birthday and the week before it was her daughter’s, so what better thing to do than to throw them a mini birthday party. Thank to The Great Little Party Company that was easy.
We love being part of the Baker Ross Blogger Network. Our latest delivery contained loads of amazing and fun crafts perfect for summer.
L was so excited about this latest box. On top of all the crafts, there were some party bag style goodies. Including some toy snails!! The snails are a simple pull and go, so we’ve been having a lot of fun racing them.
I recently took a trip to my local Hobbycraft in Norwich to grab a few bits so that L and I could make some fun Father’s Day gifts. Now L is only two and half years old, there is a limit to what he can craft but no limit to the mess he can make, or the fun he will have making it!
So we pushed back the rug, got him into his little craft apron, these are brilliant and only cost £1, well worth purchasing one, and then we set about immortalising Daddy by creating a portrait of him.
