Well as it turns out the building work was the easy part of the extension. Actually filling the rooms afterwards has been the hard part, especially when we’ve spent all the money on actually building the place! Now that the building work is finished and the decorating is done we’re at the final stage of our build. Just flooring left and then actually moving into the rooms. Rooms with lovely, big, fresh, blank walls. Walls crying out to to be filled.
The spare room is going to be my room. A craft room, an office, a space for me to get on with my work and have some quiet. I have picked out some lovely blinds, painted the walls and know that I will be moving my hand painted bureau in.Continue reading Fresh Blank Walls
The weather has changed, it’s positively Autumnal now. The nights are drawing in. We’re still living in our teeny, tiny conservatory due to the building works and our garden is more important to us than ever for a little space, but even that has areas filled with rubble.
