Thursford Christmas Spectacular

Last Friday I went to watch the Thursford Christmas Spectacular with my friend. Neither of us had been before, so we were really excited to check it out.

Thursford Christmas Spectacular

From the moment we arrived it was just magical. Trees covered in lights everywhere you look, from the carpark guiding you in and as you walk through an archway into Thursford the magic only increases. With animatontric huskies barking their greeting and even more lights than you would have thought possible.

East Anglian Game and Country Fair

L loves JCBs, loves them. We’ve worked as Brand Ambassadors for JCB Kids in the past and visited Diggerland. This kid is OBSESSED. So when I discovered that the world-famous Dancing Digger team from JCB would be visiting the East Anglian Game and Country Fair just outside of Thetford I booked tickets for me and the kid.

The Signature Collection by McDonald’s

Last week I was lucky enough to attend a special Signature event at McDonald’s on Boundary Road in Norwich. Husb and L were especially pleased they had been invited along as well. We were there alongside some lucky competition winners to find out all about the new Signature Collection of burgers and McDonald’s collaboration with Julien Macdonald OBE.

My Night at McDonald’s

I’ve never been one to shy away from taking L to McDonald’s. If we’re travelling it’s perfect and he loves it as a special treat. There’s one everywhere you go, you know what to expect and it’s always great value. I was really excited to be invited along to a blogger event at the McDonalds by Norwich Airport.

Sandringham setting for Butterfly Walk fundraiser

The Benjamin Foundation’s annual Butterfly Walk on Sunday 25th June

East Anglian charity, The Benjamin Foundation, will hold its fourth annual Butterfly Walk at Sandringham Country Park on Sunday 25th June.

The Walk will follow one of Sandringham’s trails, and is around three miles long, meandering through the Country Park’s historic woodland. Quiz questions are posted along the route, providing added fun for adults and children, with prizes for the best set of answers in each age group up for grabs at the end of the Walk. Within the Country Park there are plenty of perfect picnic spots, a large children’s play area, restaurant, gift shop and a farmers’ market, so a lovely day out for the whole family.
