Vertigo Adventures

Last Sunday husb and I headed off to Welwyn Garden City for a day of challenges with Vertigo Adventures. An amazing high ropes centre in Stanborough Park.

Now I’m not a fan of heights, I have no co-ordination and was a very long way out of my comfort zone. It was still one of the highlights of my week though. Husb on the other hand was in his element.

Heated Slippers from Primrose

The air has definitely changed our way recently. Proper chilly. So I was delighted to be sent a pair of heated slippers from Primrose to review.

I find that if my feet are cold then it takes ages for the rest of me to warm up and I feel properly chilled. I hate that feeling.

In fact as I sit here editing this I find myself on the sofa with a hot chocolate, in my snuggest jammies with my heated slippers on. I’m in heaven. Far more comfortable when I started writing this, freezing cold in the car and wishing I had my slippers.

This plus that equals…. My Favourite Norfolk Walks

Here’s the latest instalment in my series of posts all about what makes our lives here at home tick. This week is a list of my favourite walks in Norfolk. We’re off to Lincoln for a long weekend, when husb asked what I wanted to do, I literally had no clue other than to get out for some good, long, at a decent pace, walks. It can be hard to do with a toddler sometimes.

So I’d been looking for some walking inspiration in and around Lincoln and it got me thinking of my favourite places to walk at home in sunny Norfolk, especially now we have L.

Project Bridesmaid #12

So in about a year I am going to be a bridesmaid for my little sister. This is just the kind of goal I need to diet, focus on my weight loss and getting healthier, which all ties in nicely with my quest to be a calmer, happier and healthier person.

I have decided to vlog about my journey as that will give me a visual reminder of where I’ve been and where I am and as it’s something that makes me rather uncomfortable it will also help to keep me in check. Plus it’s always good to push yourself.
